Really good spicy crisp chicken, other menu offerings less great. Want chicken, bon chon is your best choice. Want a big broad menu, not so much

Got this yesterday and the delivery was pretty fast and chicken was really good. I LOVED the kimchi coleslaw. i am normally not a fan of coleslaw but the heat added to this was fab! Made it tasty and worth having.

Bon chon chicken maintains one of the highest delivery minimums that I have seen in Manhattan. Also, I was shocked and appalled that they were charging almost $3 for white rice and almost another $3 for white radish (things that are usually provided for free by almost every other establishment I've been to.

Not totally sure why so many people rave about this place. The fried chicken wings were good, but nothing special. I'm not usually a fan of Italian style fried calamari, and despite being a Korean restaurant, the calamari here was indistinguishable from your average heavily breaded calamari with marinara sauce. Not sure I'll be ordering from here again. Thought it was overpriced for what it was.

Delivery was fast - thanks for that, but the food was awful! I ordered the scallion pancake and it was 10.99! Since that's what I wanted, I conceded, but it was the worst I've ever tasted. It was greasy, had no flavor and nothing special. To that end, I just couldn't justify why it cost 10.99. And the package that it came in, made it seem like it came from a corner deli - which definitely didn't justify the price. The second item I ordered was a tofu salad. Well this was deep fried greasy tofu with wilted lettuce. And guess, the price? 10.99! What was in it you wonder, 4 slices of deep fried tofu that didn't taste good + old lettuce + a slice of tomato + 3 slices of cucumber. There was nothing special about that salad, and definitely not for 10.99. I've learned my lesson Bon Chon. I won't be ordering from here ever again.

Delivery said it would be 60 mins, it was here under 30. I ordered the wedges, the sauce that comes with it makes it delicious. I ordered the white meat hot version, way too hot for me. Lesson learned.

the chicken at bon chon is awesome. my order arrived in 35 mins and was super tasty and crispy. my co-worker saved some of her order for later and said that her chicken was still crispy even after it got cold. the only drawback is the $20 minimum for delivery. other than that, i can't wait to order from them again.
