We did not like it. It was disappointing and expensive.

Something must have happened. The flavor is off. I'm Korean, and the Korean beef marinade doesn't taste Korean. I suppose it can be good on its own merit, and most Americans might not notice the difference. It's a little gamy and/or too heavy in mushrooms and garlic-y.

2nd order, really decent pork buns both times around but the chicken yakisoba went from not great to greasy, overcooked and flavorless. Textureless noodles, dead overcooked vegetables and indiscriminate sauces drizzled on top. The food may as well have been preprepared and microwaved before being sent out. Nice delivery guys but the food took over an hour to show up. I'll think twice before ordering again.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! Food took 2 hours to deliver (after I called 3 times), it was cold and gross. And they forgot to give me my soup! This place is the worst!

Meh. Soggy noodles. Not exciting flavors. I wanted to like it. I'd love to be able to get good asian food delivered in this neighborhood. Disappointed.

The food and prices and what you'd expect from a bourgeois place, and the shrimp and grits I had were decent, nothing special. The portion size as a function of the prices? Insane and insulting. It was a postage stamp. Don't encourage these hipsters by ordering their average, overpriced, skimpy portion food.

Pretty disappointing, and way overpriced... Pork bun appetizer was good, and the gyoza and chicken and waffles were okay, but the yakisoba was gross and tasted like lo mein with ketchup and mayo.

Their food is pretty great. But their portions, in my experience, vary pretty wildly. The ramen I just ordered seemed to be 3/4 of what I normally get, leaving my unsatisfied. Plus the first time I ordered from them the food got to me cold to lukewarm (and at the time I lived literally three blocks from them... I know my own fault for being lazy I guess... but still). Otherwise, if your willing to risk possible dissatisfaction, they've got some great food. Recommend the waffles and chicken and the pork belly buns.

Bon Spice Cafe is quickly becoming my favorite delivery in the area. I've tried multiple dishes – the bulgogi omelette, pork belly buns, honey soy-glazed salmon, SE Asian stir fry, and Japanese fried chicken and waffles – and loved them all. The ingredients are very high quality, and the flavors are always spot-on. The menu is truly unique and a pleasure to explore. The only disappointments were the Thai iced tea, which was incredibly watered down, and the banana spring roll with ice cream. The ice cream was really weird, almost like heavy cream stuck in the freezer instead of a true ice cream. And, as to be expected, the waffles arrive soggy but can be crisped up in the oven. All in all, this is an awesome choice, and I can't wait to try more menu items. Delivery is usually made within 45 to 60 minutes (never less) and once on a rainy Sunday afternoon took an hour and a half. But it's 100% worth the wait.

UPDATE: Delivery time is no longer an issue and food is still great, so I've revised my previous review! While the food here is great, and the staff is super nice, they regularly make us wait over an hour and a half for a delivery. Recently, we made an order and it took over 2 hours and 15 minutes. When we called the restaurant after 2 hours, they said they were "busy with a birthday party" and the food had just gone out.
