Croissanteria (Ave A) Reviews

User rating

Showed up for my pickup order only to find out that they were quite literally out of everything I'd ordered, except for my drink order. So when I got there, they handed me a chai latte and a bag with 2 chocolate croissants in it (which I definitely did not order because I get hives from chocolate). They proceeded to give me what I think was supposed to be an apology, but actually was more like an admonishment at my assuming I could actually get the lunch I ordered at the time I ordered it ("it's past noon; we run out of our inventory early in the morning, so you should know that for next time"). But, they graciously informed me that they were going to comp my whole order (I guess the chai was my consolation prize for the walk over, lol). Anyway, it's now a week later and the charge for the non-existent meal is still on my account, so either they didn't intend to make good on that statement, or they truly have organizational problems that extend even beyond running out of everything on the menu halfway through the day.
