I've taken to ordering from different restaurants since seamless started up and let me tell you Ging's rating doesn't begin to tell the story of how good the food here is. Every meal I've gotten is excellent, I was so happy with my first order that I took my family out to eat in the restaurant and the food was even better. Probably the best Chinese/Japanese in my area. some of the Japanese side meals are a bit pricy, but no more than the new york standard prices. Most recently I ordered the unagi don and pork fried rice, the pork was large chunks and tasted great, the unagi was amazing and the rice it came on was perfect, they use something on it and it taste delicious. I 100% suggest you order from here.

Ordered Thai Shrimp Dumplings, Shrimp Udon and Crab Roll. Crab roll was rather tasty and I enjoyed it although it simply came in a clear plastic container (no faux green grass or other typical decorative fanfare that comes with a sushi roll....not even the typical sushi roll take-out container...)....just a plain, clear plastic container. Thai Shrimp Dumplings: Avoid these. I had them "pan fried" and the exterior was very greasy and "loose". It was as if they dumplings were "too big" for the filling and they simply fell apart. The filling seemed to just be some chopped up shrimp and also 'fell apart'. The Udon....should be renamed "Lo Mein". The shrimp in it seemed very fresh and there were an ample amount that were well cooked. Aside from that, the ingredients consisted of 4 pieces of scallions, a minor amount of chopped cabbage and some bean sprouts. Thats it! Served in an oily, extremely salty, liquid-y brown sauce. So salty that I was thirsty for 2 days. I likely won't be back :(

Vegetable dumplings were unusually good. Lo mein was the ideal greasy American stuff. It took a little longer than the upper end of the estimate for delivery, though.

The food wont ever make the cover of saveur magazine, but it's fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. I order from Ging at home a fair bit and occasionally eat in the restaurant as well.

Steamed entrees are excellent! Fresh, crisp and healthy. Shrimp is really good. This is the only place to get quality steamed on the upper east side.

The order was received long before the quoted time, I was surprised with how quickly it came. The sushi was delicious and quite obviously fresh - not to mention pleasing to the eye. I will absolutely order from Ging again, and recommend them highly!

Don't know what happened, maybe an off night. This is usually my "oh there's some extra money for good sushi" spot but I recently ordered & it was so beyond sub-par that I'll never order again. The yellowtail/scallion looked & tasted like mushed up smaller parts of yellowtail. They didn't have tuna sushi but still charged me for it. Never again.

Tonight I ordered chicken pad thai, gyoza, and a green tea mille crepe. The pad thai was disgusting and the chicken inedible. The gyoza was edible, but below average. The only reason I am giving one star is because the green tea crepe was good and the delivery was fast. Overall very disappointing and a waste of money. I threw out the pad thai and will have to eat something else for dinner.
