Food here is delicious. It's my go-to for Indian. Yes, they are a but pricey, but you pay for the quality, which is on-par with what they charge. I would give them 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that they never give plastic utensils or napkins and that their basmati rice tastes different every time (while always good, just not consistent). Otherwise, very good.

I'm familiar with the quality of the food when it's hot and fresh. The 2 stars are for the entire ordering/delivery process through seamless. This place still needs a lot of work when dealing with seamless orders, especially when it comes to instructions (clearly printed). My order arrived late and was missing an item. The delivery guy went to the wrong street (this was never an issue with phone orders). By the time he arrived the food was cold. I must've ordered from this place at least 50 times in the past. If you must, skip seamless and do the order by phone instead.

Food is excellent, hands down. However portions are incredibly small for the price charged. Naan, you get 1 piece cut in half. Entrees are in small chinese food entree plastic containers with tons of sauce. Whether rice comes with the dishes or not is (intentionally?) unclear. Be prepared to spend a lot for a good amount of food. Disappointing that it costs so much considering the high quality, will not be able to order that often.

I wish we could give different ratings for service vs food quality. The food was fine -- delicious even. A solid 4 stars. But the delivery was about 20 minutes late and when I called to ask what was up, it took the guy 10 minutes to figure out which one was my order and that it had gone out already. But the food did show up, and not too terribly late, and it was good. So if I order from there again I'll do it before I get really, really hungry.

Not sure why there are so many critical reviews. We order from here all the time and we've never had a delivery issue. The food is good and it is plentiful. Love the saag paneer and the haryeli kabab.

I'm in shock over what just happened tonight. 8:40 - I order dinner from Seamless Web. Delivery time says 30-45 minutes 9:40 - no food yet. I call the restaurant. Guy says "he left 15 minutes ago. He should be right there". 10:00 - no food yet. I call back. Guy 2 says "let me call the delivery guy. he should have been there a while ago. 10:10 - restaurant calls back - "The delivery guys bike broke on the way to your house. He is down the block and will be there in a minute" 10:20 - no food yet. I call back and no one answers. 10:30 - no foot yet. I call back and restaurant says "there was a policeman on your block and he mistakenly stopped and questioned our delivery guy. He mixed him up with a criminal, but he didn't do anything wrong. your food should be there in a few minutes" REALLY???? First the guy's bike broke and then he was stopped by the police and interrogated and could not prove that he was a food delivery guy??? Would the package of food been helpful??? and it if was on my block, couldn't the delivery guy have shown him the seamless receipt and have them call me to confirm my order??? then they said they couldn't cancel my order and I had to do it through Seamless. REALLY? 2 hours. No food. and the most absurd reasons for not delivering??

The food is actually very good, but I did not get the food I ordered (and was charged for). And restaurant did not seem prepared to deal with problems with Seamless orders, so it took a very long time to get the issue resolved.

Ordered a mixed grill ($22), and it was unbelievably small (I usually get more meat on a hamburger). I have ordered from all other indian restaurants in the neighborhood, and the portions are at least twice as much, and the going price has always been below $20. First time from this restaurant, and definitely the last one too. Taste was alright, so no real reason to order from here.

I've ordered from here a few times. The tikka masala is average but the chicken madras and paratha are both exceptional.
