Lincoln Park Tavern (Formerly Cafe Enduro) Reviews

Apparently, after delivering to me for over a year, they decided they don't deliver to my neighbourhood anymore. I guess business is good enough to snub their regulars. The burgers were decent, only thing I ordered. Edit: Also, for the record, I live six blocks away. Odd.

I'd eat these fish tacos every day if I could. Every. Single. Day. I sure am trying to.

Totally agree with che b.'s review: LPT is kind of overpriced for delivery, but if you live in the PLG and want something better than greasy Chinese, mediocre pizza or so-so Sushi, this is pretty much your only option. The food is actually pretty good and if you go to eat in, I think it's a totally fair price, since they have good service in a nice space, you can partake in the specials and they have a nice beer selection. But the delivery can be slow, some of the best options get a little soggy in take out containers and the $15 minimum means dinner for one isn't an option unless you add on extras. An exception is the meatloaf, which just makes the minimum and - on a cold night - is amazing (though the onion rings get soggy). If you can possibly rally and go there - even just to eat at the bar - I'd say do that rather than order in.

We have eaten there quite a bit, so tonight's delivery was very disappointing. Food was cold and soggy and order was wrong - tried calling the number featured on Seamless only to find it didn't work.

Sometimes they take a while to get there, but it's worth the wait. Favorites: pork sliders, jalepeno mac and cheese, quesadillas.

I live 2 blocks away, and my food took over an hour for delivery. The food wasn't hot, it wasn't even warm. The food is overpriced, and it worth the wait.

Four out of Five stars sounds good. But there's a catch. LPT is a rebranded Cafe Enduro, which remains one of the best restaurant options in this immediate area. If you want delivery, or want to go out without taking a train, and you don't want pizza, Chinese fast food, or low-rent Sushi. In this regard, LPT is a great choice, though the prices continue to rise without any marked improvement in quality. In a vacuum, the price-to-quality-of-product ratio would be unacceptable. The burrito is not particularly more exciting than one from Chipotle, yet it costs almost 60% more. And rising. But, again, if you don't want Chinese fast food, then, this is your option. And King of Tandoor. Two options, really. Though, LPT has a superior dine-in experience. All that said, there are some winners on the menu. The Fish Tacos are very good (though, priced at $14, which is a dollar below the delivery minimum, requiring you to add some junk like extra pico de gallo or something to bring you up to $15 bucks for delivery. Which, when you see what you wind up getting seems a bit costly). There are certain specials at the restaurant itself from time to time which are great, but they're not reflected on the seamless.com menu, so, you don't get to enjoy those. So, recap: The food is good, though overpriced. It's kind of the only nice-ish restaurant game in the immediate vicinity. If you live on the other side of the park, or further down toward Cortelyou, you have better options available to you. If you live in PLG, then this is it.

High-end mexican fare with some American favorites. Never had a bad meal here. Generous portions, burritos or tacos for dinner, plus their brunch is on point, eggs benedict, etc. On the pricy side, but worth it.

Delivery was half an hour late, the burrito was ice cold (and you can't reheat it because that turns the guacamole sour), and the side of guacamole was brown. Also, their phone doesn't work. Completely unacceptable.

I'm a little underwhelmed by LPT's burritos, but they're my go-to for when I want a good burger and fries. And I LOVE their pulled pork. Sometimes I will think about it all day. Great quesadillas, too. The delivery has always been prompt in my experience. I just wish their prices were a little lower/delivery minimum was a little lower. I always end up having to order more food than I want/need.

We love Lincoln Park! They have amazing burritos and quesadillas. We've had them with chicken, beef and shredded pork - all fantastic. The portions are huge too! Seriously, a burrito the size of your head that you have to eat because that's how good it is. We also love the little pork sliders with pickles and the rice and beans.

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. The pico de gallo tasted rancid and was inedible and the calamari was even worse. The skirt steak was a good, nice flavor but came ice cold, EVERYTHING ARRIVED ICE COLD. I called twice to discuss my discrepancies and was hung up on twice. From what I hear this place is really good when you sit in and eat...but delivery is a whole other story. Never again. $50.00 down the drain.
