This place sucks. I have ordered twice and both times my noodles were extremely dry and congealed. Never again

Considering downgrading a star bc the portions have really shrunk. I measure my food for health reasons and lately my orders have been almost a cup less than they used to be. Bummer. (But I keep it at 5 for now because it's still the best pad thai anywhere in the city.) ***** Hands down, my favorite pad thai place in NYC. I've order pad thai from many places in NYC and all have been disappoint except Pok Pok. Other places are sickly sweet and often some strange pinkish color. Pok Pok's pad thai (or Phat Thai as they call it) is not sweet, always freshly prepared, chock full of firm tofu, crunchy peanuts, fresh vegetables. Could eat it every day.

I initially gave this place 5 stars b/c after reading all the bad reviews, we decided to order anyway. The food came very quickly and it was really good. We thought we had a goto place. Then we tried to order a few days later, and then the night after that, and that's when it got ugly. The second and third time, their seamless page kept turning off during my order so I called them, they answered 3x then hung up right after. Ok, I chalked it up to technical difficulties. Last night was the 4th attempt at ordering. We called on our way home to pick up only to be put on hold for 10 minutes the first time then 5 minutes (I hung up) the second time. The person who answered said they were swamped so we decided to eat there. We got there in 5 minutes and there were 5 customers. Swamped? Really? If they can't handle that crowd, they shouldn't have opened a restaurant in Manhattan. Oh and as soon as we got there, one of the 2 cooks went on break. The guy answering the phone is so disorganized and ditzy. He could have easily taken my order for pickup instead of putting me on hold for that long. There isn't even table service! What makes him so "busy"?! There must have been 5 phone calls from irate customers asking where their delivery was while we were there. Nevertheless, I was just excited to tear into that Pad Thai again but alas, it was so freaking salty - way too much Nam Pla. I couldn't even taste anything, I had never eaten anything so salty and believe me, I love Nam Pla. Just ask my husband, I have it with every meal. Needless to say, it was a disappointment and we're never eating/ordering from this place again. I feel sorry for owner of this place, it can be so much better than what it is. He/she needs to hire professionals and get rid of the hipsters running this place.

This is the best Pad Thai I've ever eaten in my entire life, and it arrived in fifteen minutes at 6pm. Well done, Pok Pok.

Love love love this place. Everything is so good. Highly recommend for those who understand authentic Thai food. Wide noodles are divine. Try the woo sen (glass noodle) option for pad thai for those who like it lighter. And with egg omelette wrap! BUT delivery will take time during peak rush hour so be prepared to wait. For 2pm delivery during weekdays it took 45min. The most I've waited is about 80mins during dinner. Food is worth waiting for. Nice friendly delivery guys. They stopped using plastic containers and wrap it in a leaf & parchment paper type thing tied with a string. So you slide the noodles into your own plate or it can get messy.

Excellent pad thai! Delivery is the same quality as dining in the restaurant. Understand that this is not your typical Americanized pad thai. I recommend the fresh prawn dish.
