Social Eatz Reviews

I have to give these guys 5 stars, for the following reasons: - Food was delivered in less than 20 mins. It was steaming hot, and freshly prepared - They have fantastic fusions on their menu. I'm all for trying new dishes, and eat out A LOT. Some of their items , like the Korean Chicken, and BBQ pork buns, are simply delicious - The biggest surprise , was that the restaurant called my phone 2 days after the order, to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction. I was amazed that in this city, where people barely have time to greet each other, this restaurant is taking the time to call their customers, and ensure that their food experience was good. Keep up the good work, social eatz

I love this place and the food.. But take out from this place sucks! Delivery takes way too long, food is cold and presentation is not exciting.. :( Will go to the restaurant again but will probably not get delivery because of the poor service..

I've eaten in this place before, but I ordered delivery of a Chicken Caesar salad today. Is there supposed to be fish in it?

I give Social Eatz a decent effort rating. It seems like takeout is an afterthought for them. It took them the full hour which was on the longer end of the estimate. Doesn't warrant a low rating on its own but it certainly doesn't help. Presentation was pretty utilitarian and not in a hip way, not something I care about that much but I noticed it and I'm writing a review so.. The fish sandwich had good flavor but unfortunately was soaked through with its neon yellow sauce, the bread was totally soggy. Fish was fresh and cooked well. Good flavor, bad execution. Would be better in the restaurant I'm sure. The beans turned out to be green beans just soaked in soy sauce. not much flavor. weird mushroom shallot things on top did not add to the dish. i ordered a caesar salad. it was standard. not sure what i was expecting, i guess something a little more asian-flavor inspired since that is what Social Eatz is but it was just kinda..boring. Dont' know why I ordered it, don't know why I ate half of it then fished for croutons. Fish sandwich was the best part. Rest was ok. Three stars. Go fish.

This is my first time ordering - the item on the menu wasn't what was delivered so I called to find out what they can do to fix it. The first young lady to offer an explanation told me that the dish is altered for the weekends, as a hang over special. Seeing as how I'm not hungover, I explained that didn't work for me, and I had expected to get what I ordered. The manager got on the line and offered to send something else which wasn't an option unfortunately - I don't mean to be difficult but I"m on a schedule - so he offered to let me re-order gratis at my convenience. I'll revisit my review when we've tried this again, but overall the food wasn't bad - I wish they would deliver the noodles and the soup separately so the noodles don't get soggy but still the flavor was good, if not what I was anticipating, the portion was good and the delivery was well within the quoted time. I'm just not a fan of bait and switch on the item ordered. I've tried social eatz again and have to say the food is good, and the bartender Christian is awesome. I'd chalk up the first time ordering snafu to a one off (although I haven't had anything delivered since then) as they've proven to be consistently good with friendly service and rather reasonable pricing for the area.

I'm conflicted. The food is very good. However, the restaurant is usually very busy and their estimated delivery/pick-up times tend to be overly optimistic. And it's not a great value since the portions are not very large. I ordered the chicken ramen for lunch and it was delicious, especially the egg. But it was about $15 and was at most a pint. I had to eat again an hour later. At Hide Chan or Ippudo, when you eat some ramen, you will not be eating again soon, and you'll spend less too. If you have the dough, it's terrific, just order more than you normally would.

The reason it get a one star for food is because the food was ice cold. Makes sense after taking and hour and a half for delivery. Never again.

I really wanted to like my food, I did, but sadly, I did not. I ordered the Hanoi Burger (medium), Crispy Fries and the Yuzu Cream Puffs. The burger was both burnt and cold. The fries were tasty enough, but also cold, and honestly, for the money, I was surprised at how small the order was. The cream puffs were greasy and kind of gummy. The yuzu sauce was excellent. The delivery was well within the range stated. I just think there is very little bang for the buck from Social Eatz. Maybe in-store the stuff is awesome, but for delivery, it's really not very good.

AMAZING CHEESE SAUCE FOR THE FRIES. The other burgers are overpriced and all, but a decent spot if you have a dinner allocation. I would recommend the fries, the fries, and more fries?

Ordered here on 10/28 with my colleauges. We ordered Kung Po Sandwichs and Bibimbap Burger. Taste was good, but it was all bread and sauce. Barely any chicken in the sandwich. Coworker liked the burger. Also ordered fries. They were smaller then a McDonalds Small fry order. For 4.50 it is a huge ripoff.
