I've been looking everywhere the past two years for decent Mexican (why doesn't it exist in NYC?). This is the closest I've found. They actually have refried pinto beans!!! Anyone who's been to CA knows west coast Mexican does not include black beans! Not too spicy but still 5 stars for being something of a reminder of real Mexican food. Why is no cheese quesadilla on the menu?

Good, basic Mexican. Spicy enough for me, without being too spicy for my teenage son. Delivered promptly.

There were bones in my chicken quesadilla. The delivery guy was rude. Terrible!

Food arrived cold, we got like 5 chips each and a small portion of guacamole. It was good, but over priced for the proportions and quality.

I don't know what all these people are talking about who say this place is gross. They have clearly never had real Mexican food (NYC Mexican food is a joke). I'm from CA and I think this place is great!! Tamales were bomb and rice/beans are just like traditional Mexican places on the west coast...none of that whole, watery pinto/black bean gunk most places serve these days. Take if from us CA people--if you're looking for good Mexican in NYC, order from here. Also, it showed up freakishly fast which was awesome.

The ONLY Mexican restaurant in NYC. We are from the SW and CA and have very specific ideas about Mexican food. So much so, we never trust anyone's reviews. Basically we think NYers lack a palette Mexicano and therefore are recommending places which should go out of business. ;) Other than Castro's waaaaaaaaaaaay out in Brooklyn, this is all we've found in 15 years. I'd give it 5 stars except on occasion it is not up to par. We have eaten a qtr of what's on this menu and would re-order all but a couple items. Their chips are fried fresh from their homemade corn and flower tortillas. The guacamole has a tiny kick. They have Salsa El Mas Fuerte on demand. Try the Ranchera Sauce for hot but manageable heat. Mole sauce is very good, like Mexican Pesto. Tasty enchiladas in some kind of regional style I've never had before. Last but not least, the staple, ye olde Rice and Beans exactly as you remember them way back in your taco stand dreams. My heart beats for Tacocina.

They food was ok but they don't give enough description on the site. I have ordered a cheese enchilada and a Chili Relieno. The cheese enchilada came in some sort of sauce that wasn't mentioned and it also had tomatoes in it which was never mentioned. I spent my lunch picking the tomatoes. The chili relieno also had no description. It came with rice which was a nice surprise but it also came with refried beans. I HATE beans. It was all over the chili and the rice so again i was forced to try and make my lunch edible. If the menu said it came with sides or gave a description on what's in the food i could have easily asked for it to not be included. Between tax and tip i paid just over $15. Definitely not worth that price.

I have eaten at this place for their 2 for 1 margaritas was quite satisfied and thought I would try home delivery. Never again! 1- Ordered Guacamole spicy, it was not and pretty bland 2- ordered pork tacos only to discover a large bone yes BONE in my taco that I could have broken my tooth with or choked on as well as the meat around the bone was light pink didn't even look cooked! I spat out my food and threw the whole order away. Just disgusting. I tell you never again.

Fried Ice cream is great. Flan is AWESOME. But do NOT get the Horchata. Prolly the worst I've ever had. Had weird flavor and was really watered down. Otherwise it was fast delivery so 3 stars.
