Insomnia Cookies (Murray Hill)

Yummy cookies. Like home-made. Takes you straight back to childhood making them the old fashioned way with the butter on the counter, flour, chips, etc. I love this place. Arrives warm and the milk chug makes it all perfect. Really good. Classic.

Almost comically the worst customer experience of all time. Cookies never delivered. Phone goes to call center that makes you wait forever if you choose customer service . Answers if you press 1 for new orders. Yells at you and refuses to help.

Awesome cookies. Not alwayyyys warm on delivery, but just pop 'em in the microwave for 10 seconds and they're right back to where they started. Good up to 2 days later, if they last that long ;)

I've ordered cookies from Insomnia through Seamless a few times now. I'm surprised they're even on Seamless as it hardly seems worth their time to deliver one or two cookies to someone (all three times, my order was for a dozen cookies or more.) The first two times I ordered, the order came almost immediately. The third time, perhaps 20 minutes or so--very acceptable. Despite the fact that we've never experienced a problem with their delivery, the wife went there in person for our last two Insomnia cravings. I'm going to agree with a review I read below and say: just walk there and get them. The people are very friendly, the entire place smells like fresh baked cookies (duh), and it can't hurt to burn a few calories before you shove a few cookies in your mouth.

First time I ordered cookies came quickly and warm. Second time I ordered cookies came in about 60 min or so and were cold. Heated them up myself and still tasted good.

Coconut pecan is my fav. They delivered late on Christmas Eve. :O. Price isn't bad. Cookies are really good.

Tried to order cookies the other night. Waited about an hour, and called to check on my order. I was told that the cookies were left with my doorman. When I informed her that there is no doorman in my building, she laughed and said "i'll call you back". After about 20 minutes I called back to see what was going on, I was told they had "taken the liberty" of canceling my order, and that she had some new people working there, and that is why my deliver went to the wrong place. She also added that they didnt even have the cookies in stock that I ordered that time of night, and I should really have called earlier. When I informed her that I had placed my order an hour and a half earlier, she apologized and said "I'll remember your name, just ask for free cookies next time from me". No thanks, bad customer service, definitely not worth the hassle when there are better options available.
