Jimmy's Diner (Brooklyn)

I don't want to insult Jimmy's, cuz their food is crazy good. But, the delivery took really long and I probably won't do it again. Definitely head there to eat- but I don't think it's prepped enough for delivery. Sorry guys!

More than 90 minutes and counting....I'm done with Jimmy's. I don't live in the suburbs---it's not the weekend---it should never take 90 minutes to deliver anything in Williamsburg/Greenpoint. Food arrived cold---fries were soggy. Adios, Jimmy's

I noticed a lot of people writing negative reviews about Jimmy's delivery service so I thought I should share my experience, which has been extremely positive. Today I ordered breakfast from here and it arrived in under 25 minutes very hot and fresh. Maybe the others ordered at a very busy time or just caught them on a bad day, but they have been great the past few times I've ordered. Absolutely nothing to complain about, and, of course, it is very solid diner food.

I order from Jimmy's Diner all the time. They always make good time, and the food is always tasty. I've been ordering from here for maybe over a year, and they've never messed up an order or left me regretting my choice. If there's ever an issue with something I order, they make a very personable call and work out the issue in a way that makes sense. The delivery staff is also always nice. Good food, good service, good menu. Can't recommend this place enough!

I would advise skipping ordering anything from here. I ordered a sandwich and got the wrong one. The order sheet was torn and it didn't actually say what was supposed to be delivered. This is just a case of disorganization - if they had labeled the bag correctly, there probably wouldn't have been a mix up. When I called to report that I had received the wrong order - there was no apology - the person on the line simply was confused and said it would be a while. They delivered again an hour later - so 2 hours to get a basic sandwich. I would not order from them again.

I've never written a review before but i just had to.. i ordered the $7 mozzarella sticks and an iced coffee. When the delivery showed up an hour later my 5 (only 5!) mozzarella sticks were destroyed and the iced coffe was basically water. when i called to ask how many mozz sticks came in an order the guy on the phone responded with "5 probably" ????? not too proffesional

Really yummy food, very nicely portioned and I have yet to pick something on the menu that doesn't taste delicious. Delivery has been great! Their staff is courteous and polite!

To their defense... the woman I spoke to on the phone was sweet and professional and tried to figure out the problem. But... I placed my order at 8:12pm and received it at 10:40pm. Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold and soggy. My milkshake was completely liquid. It's sad that a delivery guy can ruin it for a business but I'll never order from them again. Or, go there. Terrible.

The fries were great. The delivery was on time. They forgot the coleslaw. The chicken fingers were very small and not exactly what I expected, but the flavor was good. Was super disappointed about the coleslaw.

Waited two hours for our delivery.... which I understand happens when a restaurant is slammed busy. When I kindly called to check and make sure our order had gone through, I was told rudely by whoever I spoke with on the phone that I needed to be patient, and that everyone had to wait the same amount of time I had to wait (mind you, I didn't call to complain - I simply wanted to make sure our order was received). When we received our delivery, we found they had messed up our order. Half of our food was also very soggy. I will NOT be ordering from here again.

This place is always packed when I want to go. Really glad they added delivery. The food is typically really heavy stuff, sort of a 70s & 80s childhood soul food, but SO GOOD. Amazing burgers and anything with gravy. Love the breakfast scrambles too. A little high on the sodium scale overall, not a place for everyday or your body would fall apart.
