La Cocinita Latina

I found this establishment in seamless web and was impressed that I could order a belgian waffle in the area (love diners but hardly any diners in the area). I called the first time and the guy just answers "Hello?" Not Cocinita or anything. I tell him I would like to place an order and he tells me to hold. I hold for about 1 minute and then some genius (probably Mr Hello) picks up the phone and starts dialing...then hangs up on me. I called back and the person picked up the phone and hangs up. I called back and got a rude woman who picked up the phone and all impatient says "Hello?" with an attitude...like I'm an inconvenience to her or something. And again does not answer the phone with a greeting like "La Cocinita can I help you?". I told her what just happened and instead of saying something like "I/we apologize for the inconvenience, can I take your order now" she says 'Oh well I don't know". Unfortunately I cannot give a review about the food because I haven't gotten thru their lack luster customer service over the phone. I'd rather deal with Jimbos right down the street...you get more bang for your buck.

Cocinita has great food and is very consistant. Sometimes delivery can be slow.

Every now and then I get the urge for Mexican...meaning like weekly. When I'm feeling too lazy to go out for it Cocinita Latina is my fav place to order from. Their super speedy delivery and friendly delivery guys just make it that much better. Delicious taco salads, amazing (like seriously amazing) fried chicken chunks (can't think of the spanish name), and the best rice and beans. I love this place.

Not satisfied at all. Food is not the best, but worse, it comes to your door in sloppy prepared containers; takes the term "doggy bag" to a most literal echelon of meaning. Wont order from here again.

Horrible service horrible food!!! Waited almost 2 hours and im literally 3 blocks away. Told the guy ill just come get my order then he made up some story. Then guy shows up no pen spilled drink bad soaked said not his problem. Almost knocked him out at my front door step Called the manager and he was a total jerk. Hung up on me twice. Ended up throwing away all the food un edible. Called seamless and at least they got them to refund me. Took about a week though. Worse place ever and that was only 1 of my numerous encounters with them. My fault though i should have never order again after the first time

Took over two hours to get to us. No idea why. When I called the place a very surly manager said it would be coming in 5 minutes but the then 30 minutes passed by. Once we got the food one of the containers had broken open and the entire bag was wet. Won't be ordering from them again and I suggest you don't either.

Delivery is equal to the time quoted, but still seems slow. Food is always spot on and the Tres Leches is awesome.

I've ordered from here before and liked the food. But not today. I waited for my food to arrive for an hour, and when it arrived, half of it was incorrect. When I called the restaurant about it they said they'd send me the right food right away. An hour and a half after that call and I still haven't received it, their excuse being that they are busy. So now it's been about 3 hours and I haven't gotten my food. Very poor customer service!

Everything I've ordered from here has been amazing! The codfish is so good! The burgers and nachos are great and the rice and beans are banging! They have given me the wrong drink twice but other than that, I am definitely a regular!

:If you order a diet soda because you can't drink sugary sodas, make sure you note to them that you don't want them substituting the sugary counterpart. Diet Coke instead of Diet Pepsi, I can handle. This can of Pepsi is going to sit in my fridge forever. ETA: Just after I submitted this review, I opened my order -- a Texas burger deluxe with swiss, medium. The burger was cooked well-done, with no egg, the fries were nearly dark brown, there was no lettuce and tomato. The final nail in the coffin for what was already a deteriorating relationship with me and this place. Not one part of this order was correct. I used to love ordering from this place, and I will now never do that again.

I ordered the steak with special sauce, and wasn't impressed at all. The chunks of beef were a bit dry, and there really wasn't much sauce at all. The yellow rice and red beans were the best thing on the plate. The absolute worst part of the meal was the burnt, inedible alcapurria. It was so hard you could crack a tooth on it! I give this restaurant 2 stars for the speedy delivery and the rice and beans, but wouldn't recommend it to others.

Decent burritos, nothing special. Food took awhile to arrive. Nachos were good, most successful takeout nachos I've ever had.

These were the worst nachos I have ever had! It took over an hour for them to deliver them and they had NO cheese and were cold. When I called to tell them the man who answered was incredibly rude and not helpful. He told me I need to order extra cheese even though I insisted that there was NO cheese on them to begin with. I told him I wanted my money refunded and he told me if I brought them back he would refund them. They have terrible customer service!! I would not recommend this place to ANYONE and will never order from there again.
