La Condesa

Enchiladas suizas w chicken are AMAZING! Also, sweet plantains are delicious! Flan is great. they make the guacamole to order too. Delivery is always fast and complete! Love La Condesa! :)

I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food, but La Condesa has seriously helped change my mind. I'm so glad this restaurant came to the neighborhood. It is a much welcomed addition. The Enchiladas Suizas are crazy good and the portions are sizeable. I highly recommend you try this one.

Usually I am very impressed with the speed and ease of seamless orders and their participating restaurants. However, on one particular evening I was very underwhelmed by the service at La Condesa. I placed an order at an off-peak time of the evening and then did not receive my order until 2 hours after my delivery confirmation was sent. I called several times and was reassured that the order was on it's way and that it was most likely about to be delivered very shortly. By the time my food arrived it was very cold and soggy, and would have been much easier had I just gone to get it myself sans tip. I was not pleased with the service from La Condesa on this particular evening. I usually find the Mexican Food here to be pretty decent but it is usually better when warm and fresh... as opposed to two hours late and soggy.

Met the owner once when i walked by and he's very charming. New business in the area, so I wanted to support them. First experience was mixed... I'd give the Camarones a la Diabla a 5 and the Mixiote de Borrega (lamb dish) a 2.5. Granted, the lamb dish might just be a matter of taste/palette since my boyfriend liked it just fine. The shrimp dish had some kick and I'd order that again.

Horrible food. Nachos were okay, but I've had better. Steak nachos had a questionable sauce on them. I received a "quesadilla" that was more like a taco. My food arrived cold and the cheese wasn't even melted! Will never order from here again.

Food arrived within 45 minutes and the order was correct, but I was expecting more flavor for the price paid. The meal was filling and the portions were awesome but I agree with other reviews that said it was kind of on the bland side.

Very slow service. Delivery took an hour and 20 minutes and it was cold when it arrived. I called and spoke with owner. His response "I'm sorry but we're very busy."

I wasn't in the mood to cook so my boyfriend and I ordered from here for the first time. His burrito was bland no sour cream as I indicate in my order and my taquitos were plain steak tacos? I wouldn't order from here again maybe this is a restaurant that you can only sit and eat.

Skip the lamb (so-so) and go for the enchiladas suizas or the camarones de diabla. Also, their cochinita de pibil is excellent, although you probably need to call and check if they have it on the menu and order over the phone.

The absolute worst mexican food I have ever had. I actually walked back 10 blocks after having 1 bite from a delivered burrito and quesadilla. Got my $ back, which was nice. But, this place is terrible. Don't know how they stay in business.
