I ordered the quesadilla with carnitas and super nachos from this restaurant. The carnitas was pretty dry so I had supplement the quesadilla with their red tomato salsa and that did the trick. The portion size for the quesadilla was pretty big, they gave about 3 big slices and they were generous with the meat. Their super nachos was standard, a lot of meat and toppings. It was definitely very filling. The service was good, cashier gave me a generous amount of salsa when I requested for it. I had the tomato salsa and the salsa verde, both were good. I would come back to this place if I was nearby, but otherwise the Mission offers a lot other great burrito places.

The rave reviews I've been hearing about La Espiga De Oro are without question TRUE. Everything I ordered was cooked to perfection and as a guy that used to think that El Faro was the crown jewel of San Francisco Mexican food... I recant. La Espiga De Oro is the new champ in my book. Tamales are divine and the papusas are craaaazy good as well! You'll love it!
