Lili's 57 (57th Street)

I've ordered from Lili's many times, and except for today when the weather was bad, the delivery times have been extremely quick. The food is above average. Good soups and eggrolls.

Lili's is the best chinese food i have ever had in NYC. The steamed shrimp dumplings are to die for. Also, the white meat sesame chicken is the best i've ever had. Lili's is definitely not cheap and a meal for one will likely total $20 plus but it's definitely worth the money. Lo mein and fried rice are also very good and not greasy.

Love the make your own fried rice- great portion size. I roder from here on Sundays just for the chicken friend rice, but I am also afriad to go anywhere else because it might be bad. This is a branch of lili and loos on 57th, so its all the same food at a different location. I actually like ordering in more from here then going out, but I can only comment on the rice. Fast delivery, but the soup is average.

I've ordered from Lili's twice and was dissapointed twice. Their dumplings are particularly doughy and unpleasant. The General Cho's Chicken came with peppers instead of broccoli as I'm used to. Over all, this place is dissapointing

Crispy sesame chicken was exactly what you'd expect, but not in a bad way! just basic good chinese take out. What made it great? Food delivered within 15 min of ordering.

general tsao's was pretty good - although definitely not the best I've ever had. still, MUCH better than the generic general tsao's served at most places. delivery was also fast

Ordered the Orange Beef. Not good. Not crispy like it says it is. Soggy beef covered too much in corn starch. Ick. Never again.

The Chinese dishes on the menu are pretty good. The Korean and Thai entrees can be hit or miss. Delivery service is prompt and when I've stopped in to pick up, the staff has been nice.

Pretty good. It can be hit or miss with the lunch specials. Chicken and Broccoli was great, but beef and broccoli had a strange taste and consistency. The sesame chicken is advertised as "crispy" and I was hoping it would be really crispy, but it is actually less crispy than most sesame chickens. I would still order from here for the sushi lunch special. Very good.

I'm a super fan of this place. I work in the area, so I usually pick up my order. Therefore, I can't speak to delivery times, but what I can say is that my order is always ready when I arrive. The lunch options are affordable and appropriately sized. The chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce is a partifcular favorite. I sometimes find this dish too goopy at other restaurants, but it's perfect here. Everything I've had has been fresh and delicious.
