Los Pollitos Restaurant III

My orders from Los Pollitos have generally been alright. Granted, the burritos tend to be soggy, but not inedible by any means. But as far as delivery goes, tonight's order was missing a soda I'd paid for, and upon calling the restaurant, was told they'd deliver it separately. Since then, the store has closed and I haven't heard back from them. So buyer beware on small details like that with these guys, but the food at large isn't bad.

Well, my luck had to run out eventually. After ordering from Los Pollitos many times without incident, I am now past the 1.5 hour mark for my food, which was supposed to arrive in 30-45 minutes. I called 15 minutes ago and it was "on the way." I'm less than half a mile away... I only ordered from here because I thought it would be faster than Maya Taqueria. Now I wish I'd gone with my first choice.

(Update) While I still agree that their food is amazing, their terrible service makes it a non-issue. The last 3 or 4 times we have ordered from Los Pollitos they have gotten our order wrong. They make you pay specifically for the green salsa and when we do pay for it, we usually only get red, which we don't like. Then when we call and tell them about the error, it takes over an hour to bring the green salsa and by then we no longer want it. In our most recent order, we also ordered chicken and cheese flautas but received two orders of chicken. We may never order from here again because it is just too much of a hassle. (Previous) Excellent Flavor! I had the steak (or grilled beef? same thing) burrito and it was huge and delicious. The green salsa is amazing and the chips are home made. The green salsa has flavor I would not expect from a restaurant not in Manhattan and at this price. Unfortunately, the green salsa can get very expensive and depending on who is putting together you order, you may or may not get your money's worth. $1.50 for a tiny cup of green salsa is WAY too much. As a result, we have started looking for alternatives, but will undoubtedly order from here again.

The food is still good, but the prices are too high now. I def stopped ordering from here as much, it's too expensive, $5 for fried yucca... really....!

I've ordered here many times, the flavor of the food always keeps me coming back. I'm also very happy that they aren't crazy expensive. The best rotisserie chicken I've had and I'm from the islands. I should know!!!

Inexpensive and delicious! I ordered the chicken and pork super tacos, 1/4 Rotisserie chicken, and yuca fries. Everything was amazing!

They are always at my place insanely quickly, usually even before the estimate given. The food always hits the spot and they have never made a mistake with an order. Given the price, there is not much more you could ask for.

It took two hours for us to get our food. The food was warm, the chicken overcooked. It was my first real disappointment with an order I'd placed. The disappointing thing was it was a pricey order (in regards to just ordering for myself).

Delivery was 1 1/2 hours and food was lukewarm, Ordered steak rare - steak was medium well. Ask for well done english muffin. English muffin was barely tosted

the delivery was fast and they didn't forget to include anything in the order... however, their food is terrible. every bit of it, except for the salad, tastes like it's been drenched in high-sodium, chemical-tasting artificial flavorings. so unpalatable, and unhealthy!

The food was delicious and came on time. Two problems though: I ordered two lemonades and they omitted one (but he came back fifteen minutes later with the second one. Also, no napkins, straws or cutlery.
