Lupe's East L.A. Kitchen

Food is alright. Everything's pretty typical of what you'd expect from a restaurant that describes themselves as an "LA Kitchen" rather than a Mexican restaurant. Delivery can take a bit of time.

I was really skeptical of delivery Mexican food because let's face it—all Mexican food in NYC basically sucks—but Lupe's was actually really, really good. Will definitely order from them again.

Rubbish. Having been to East LA, I am disappointed to find that they keep their lunch specials under a lamp. I got soft tacos and they were stuck together. Even in West LA they don't have to eat their tacos with a knife and fork. Pimping the inexperienced.

Lupe's is the best Mexican food you can get downtown, and I've never seen a restaurant so dedicated to their customers. I've called the restaurant myself and everyone from management to the delivery guy is incredibly friendly and helpful.

No. Just no. This is not how you make a burrito. Nor is it how you serve a burrito. That's certainly not how it comes in East L.A. Serve a soggy burrito in a tray covered with sauce and you'd be punched in the face. Shame on them for invoking California in their marketing.

Gave this place a shot because the delivery minimum was cheaper than that of Cafe El Portal, who make my favorite burritos in the city. The burrito arrived quickly enough and the flavors are ok (just ok), but it was cold. Not just room temperature, but cold-cold. Disappointing.

This food is disgusting! Don't order from here! My quesadilla was totally soggy and bland, and the burrito was pretty soggy as well. The sour cream and guac tasted digusting, the lettuce and tomatoes were white and nearly inedible, and the rice sucked too. I'll never order from here again.

Didn't taste anything special but it was delicious. Maybe it's better to eat at the restaurant instead of delivery. Tasted very typical Mexican food found on Seamless. Delivery was great. I had the chipotle shrimp and the spinach enchilada. both were great and I was surprised to find the shrimp was fresh!

Really awesome Mexican, especially for delivery. Shrimp chipotle tacos are to die for, and the mole chicken was fantastic. Portions are generous- will definitely be back
