Best cuban food in NYC! The oxtail is reliable and fantastic. Empanadas are a treat too. The Cuban Sandwich is as good as it gets. Delivery estimates are accurate too.

I order from the restaurant on weekends and the most times many items are not available. The food taste like left overs from friday. It is not fresh. Salads are refrigarated from Friday and meats are not made fresh for weekend orders.

The service was good but the food was disappointing. I know what a Cuban and Media Noche should taste and look like and this place comes nowhere near it! This is not Cuban or Caribbean or Latin food. I’m not sure who is cooking but I’m sorry it is not authentic – may be for a gringo. The food was not bad just not what I was expecting. We also had the rice and beans and salmon – both were fine. There’s a Mexican place around the corner that would serve you a good size meal for the same price and it actually tastes like Mexican food.

I love to drop by this place at lunchtime to pick up a cuban sandwich - they are usually FANTASTIC. However, their delivery is just absurd. I ordered a cuban sandwich and soup combo and it didn't come for ONE HOUR. they called me 15 min after i placed my order to tell me they didn't have the chicken soup i ordered but had fish soup and i said ok, thinking it would take the usual 3-5 minutes to make the sandwich....but no. When I got the sandwich the salami was entirely burnt and the bread was extremely stale - definitely leftover from yesterday or the day before. NO napkins, no spoon (for my soup).........all that....after waiting an hour.

Delivery took a little long and portion sizes are on the smaller side, but the dishes are flavorful and perfect comfort food!

I had the oxtail stew and it was GREAT! The meat was well seasoned and tender. The rice and beans were good as well. My only problem is I had to have my food redelivered (the first time it came the delivery guy made a mess) and they didn't give me enough plantains---four, seriously. Overall, it was good and I'd def eat here again.

If you've ever gone to the actual restaurant, you know it's as small as an manhattan apartment hallway. I was soooo happy to finally see them on seamless! The best cuban food ever and now I dont have to squeeze through 25 people to order!! Definitely a must try if you've never had it!!
