Love Masala! Vindaloo is off the walls spicy - perfect. Compare that to Indian Taj's children's spice level vindaloo. The owners are very sweet and friendly. We always recommend Masala to anyone looking for good Indian in Woodside.

I love Masala, I go there all the time and have it delivered all the time. Always delicious and the staff is lovely. But can you guys stop saying it's in Sunnyside? Woodside yo!

Not the best Indian foos I've ever had, but not the worst. I used to give Masala a higher rating, but now Curry Point wins - as far as ordering Indian food in Sunnyside, those are the only two options. This place has the red onion chutney; Curry Point does not.

It is one of the best available indian restaurants in the sunnyside-woodside neighbourhood. 3/1/2012 I am changing my review - the food quality is coming down, the meat will never be cooked well. I ordered food, a curry, 2 days before and the guy who delivered it home has spilled almost half of it. I had to clean my table where I kept the bag and the curry was not sufficient for 2 people after the spilling. I compalined to the restaurant and I expected them to do some sort of compensation in the next delivery. To my surprise, no apologies from them and no compensation. Seriously thinking about not order from them any more.

Absolutely delicious, and got to us in a half hour. We had the samosa's (huge), the Chana Sag (with a good heat) and the Chicken Korma (to end it with some sweetness). Probably the best Indian food you are going to get in Sunnyside,

We had high hopes for this restaurant because of their 4 star average. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. While the portion size was ample, the quality of the food was not just inauthentic, but also poor. The chicken in our tikka masala was dry and had obviously been cooked long before we ordered. More troubling is our conviction that the sauce was created from Campbell's tomato soup. The saag paneer was dramatically better, but still mediocre and oily. Admittedly, the samosas were large and tasty and the naan was average, but that is not enough for us to return. You can do a LOT better.

Definitely not great Indian food, but acceptable in a pinch. Both dishes were bland and Americanized.. more akin to what I got when I lived in Oregon. Unless you are really craving Indian food and really don't want to leave the house, just hope the train to Jackson Heights and get the real deal.

Masala is an excellent Indian restaurant. Their portion sizes are huge, so I always get two meals out of it. The service is great; you can tell they appreciate your business. My favorites are the chana masala with nan and vegetable samosas. You will be very full after all that. The samosas are huge and filling. The nan is always delicious as is the chana masala. The best part is the meal is always delivered piping hot.

I would rate as 4.5 stars due to their sometimes inconsistant sauces. However, Masala's food is delicious! Aloo Paratha and Lamb Tikka Masala are my favorites.

Tikka masala was overly sweet, really thin sauce, and barely any chicken. Veggie samosa was undercooked. Forgot my drink order. Nan was decent.

Only order a soup an appetizer which took 45 min to deliver. The mulligatawny soup tasted like Lime, gross. The veggie fritters were cold and soggy. Thank goodness I tried classic and traditional dishes before ordering a full dinner for my family. I'm so disappointed.

Food was delivered promptly, but curry was extremely sweet even though I had ordered it medium.

It took over an hour for delivery, and my food was cold by the time it arrived. The Lamb Tikka was terrible! So dry it was difficult to chew.
