Metro Kitchen Cafe Restaurant

Even the fries stay warm and crispy here. Great delivery staff, excellent food--my number one choice for diner delivery in the neighborhood. I only wish they didn't put feta in anything that has spinach in it. I know this is a problem endemic to many diners, but the eggs florentine would have been perfect if there had been no feta cheese in it--and that would have been an achievement! REVISION: I had to take off a star because the last two times I ordered here there have been problems. Once the meal (quesadilla) was inedible due to the poor quality of the meat; to their credit, the restaurant quickly supplied me with a substitute meal for free. Last time, the Cobb salad came without bacon and with a very small amount of less-than-fresh small shrimp. But I'm definitely still ordering from them.

Best diner in Woodside. I used to order from Stop Inn, Foxy's Eatery and Pete's Grill on Queens Blvd. All either deliver food cold, are rude on the phone, and almost always forget part of my order. Metro Kitchen is better than all of them.

After waiting for 40 minutes a double cheeseburger I decided to call I told the woman about the order we placed and she had no clue what i was talking about then later checked and told me "You're going to have to wait another 30 minutes because we have to many deliveries tonight". it's fine to make a mistake but don't lie pretending the customer is stupid.

HORRIBLE. They gave my last delivery to a stranger in the lobby. A previous order of eggs benedict was placed on white bread not an english muffin. Will NEVER order from here again. Sad because it used to be a great place. Not sure what's happened here in the last month.

I usually really like this place. Not so thrilled tonight. Ordered pancakes that were supposed to come with eggs and sausage. The eggs never arrived. Not even under the pancakes. Ordered fries cooked extra well done, they came soggy.

I live about 3 or 4 blocks away, so delivery was quick. I found the menu to be somewhat inaccurate; I ordered a gyro sandwich which I thought came with french fries and a salad, since that is what the description says beneath "Greek Specialties." I was disappointed to find that I apparently ordered only the sandwich and no sides, since I guess the Gyro Platter (and not the Gyro Sandwich) comes with the sides for an extra $2. I thought that was very misleading because it doesn't specify anywhere in the window. The gyro was average, I usually prefer more yogurt sauce than what was provided. All in all, I would order from here again but probably try something different.

inconsistent food. eggs were super runny almost raw in the omelete we ordered and overcooked in the bacon egg and cheese sandwhich. so many other diner options around. We avoid whenever we can.

Food seemed okay for cheap delivery, but more often than not, my orders were incorrect. They apparently don't read the "Special Instructions." I tried several different times since its the only place that has burgers, but the last time was it. I ordered a burger and the cheese was wrong, they gave me onion rings when I asked not to have them, and the cookie & brownie was so OLD and STALE, it was crumbling apart in the saran wrap before I even opened them. I won't order from here ever again.

Fish and chips were fine, but there was a mistake on my order and instead of contacting me or trying in any way to fix it, the manager simply sent over the wrong thing. Will NOT order from this place again as a result.
