Michael's Restaurant

not a place that I will order from again. I know it was delivery, but my food was pretty cold by the time it arrived, and the place is just around the corner from my apartment. Also, one of the main reasons I wanted to order from there was that they had tiramisu on their menu. I placed my order online, and then they called me, saying they didn't have any tiramisu tonight. Okay... They gave me the other options available, so I chose a seemlingly friendly piece of layer cake. When it arrived, I was so disappointed, not just in the fact that it wasn't what I was expecting (they said chocolate cake, and it was a white cake), but it was also BEYOND STALE. Gross. Fail, Michael's Restaurant. Fail.

Michael's is always consistent. Fast, friendly and good quality. Can't get a better 24 hour restaurant nearby that delivers.

Michael's is your standard diner. Nothing out of this world, but you can count on it for a good omelet. The chicken parm panini left something to be desired.

I've been ordering from Michael's for the last year on a regular basis, and never had a problem with them. I wish their prices were a little lower, but their food is good for a diner, and great burgers in particular. Their carrot cake is also excellent. It's been very rare that the delivery guy was late, and there has never been anything missing from the order.

I haven't been here, and I see no reason to go either. They have the rudest people answering the phone. I placed an order via Seamless, someone from Michael's called and left me a voicemail saying they had a question and could I call back. When I did, the guy at the other end went off on me in (hilarious) broken English, telling me no one had called me. I think the best thing they have going for them is angry people with little English manning the phone. I'd give em five stars and a huge tip just for that. End of rant.

I am going to agree with the other reviews. In the past, I have liked this place. But tonight I placed an order (after a 13 hour work day) expecting hot food in the advertised 30-45 minute window. An hour and a half later, my food showed up. When I asked the delivery guy, he said he had 6 other deliveries and got lost? And my food was cold. And before the delivery guy showed up, I called the restaurant over TEN times and not once did they answer. Nothing, so I couldn't even call to see where my food was? This experience, I am sorry to say, means I won't be ordering from there again. I will miss the loaded baked potatoes appetizer and other hearty good portions of food - because the terrible service and cold food wasn't worth it.

the food was terrible. delivery took like hour and a half to get here when its only 2 blocks away, the packaging was terrible too. everything leaked. please do not eat from this restaurant.

I've ordered from Michael's several times and have never had any problems. The food is quality and usually comes within the estimated delivery time. I'm a big fan of this place & it's my go-to diner.

Never ordering again. This was my third order from Michael's. Despite being relatively close, the food was cold, not to my specifications, bland and just not good. Previous orders have been subpar as well, but they are close and open late so I have ordered again. No more.

Usually pretty good, but had a bad experience with my last order. The expected wait time was 30-45 minutes, but we ended up waiting over an hour. Once we got our meal, the sodas and correct condiments weren't included. We called the restaurant and they did deliver extra soda, but we once again had to wait a long time, and by that time we were already finished with our meal (which included very soggy french fries). I generally like this place, but have been disappointed the past two times. I hope it gets better.

Definitely a solid choice at all hours. Since learning Michael's would deliver to us on 44th St, they've been our go to, and to date, we have been pleased with everything we've had.

Love the food, especially the charcoal-grilled london broil sandwich and french fries with cheese. But when I tried to order, Seamlessweb said it is closed when it is in fact open. So I called the restaurant and the guy on the phone was rude and sounded so bored that he wasn't even listening to me as I ordered. FOOD: good CUSTOMER SERVICE: not so good

michael's is decent, but there are definitely much better 24 hour diners on seamless to order from. they have super high prices for pretty lame food. but if you need a diner in a pinch they are ok.

Portions are large and the food is really good. I had pancakes w/ eggs and bacon. Really. Really. Good. Delivery time was very long though, which is why I gave Michael's a 4 star

Good diner for breakfast food! My husband (off the boat Irishman from Cork) swears by their Irish breakfast and gets it every weekend! Delivery man is super friendly and fast! I don't trust their chicken, always rubbery and weird.
