Food came within 30 minutes even though it said 45-60! Loved the fried pumpkin and cucumber salad. Panang Curry was decent just not my favorite Panang I've ever had. Overall great experience!

The food is decent but the service is horrible, and they give you a super tiny serving of rice??? I mean rice is pretty cheap! Ordered from here multiple times always took over an hour to get to me and one time when I ordered yellow curry they brought me super spicy green curry when I called them to fix it the women yelled at me and told me that I had better have not eaten the curry and was given a super hard time, hmmm that's funny your the ones that messed up on an online order it's not even a language barrier kind of thing.

Don't order here if you're hungry and want you food within the delivery time specified. We ordered our food over 1 hour ago (delivery time frame promised was 45-60 min), and when I called to check up on the status, they acted like nothing was wrong, did not apologize for the delay, and didn't even want to call the delivery guy until I specifically requested that they do. And when they finally called the delivery guy, I was told he'd be here in "5 minutes" and had already been "on his way". Guess what, this restaurant is <5 min away from my apt, which means they didn't even bother to leave until I called them! WTF. Get with the program and deliver when promised or don't bother. Food is "okay"... nothing to write home about and definitely not worth waiting this long for, not when there's plenty of other Thai restaurants around.

Modern Thai offers a variety of unusual Thai dishes with an often quirky spin (see how many items are named some variant of Louisiana for example). The crispy tofu with basil is a constant favorite, seafood in coconut milk curry is great, and the squid with cashews is a standout unusual item. Noodles (variations on pad thai) and fried rice provide huge portions easily making a serving for two or three. Formerly Zagat rated, the style is the "court" or "chao praya" style of Bangkok, so few dishes have the incendiary heat you can get from places that feature more northern style cooking.
