Good cheap fast Chinese food- this is by no means gourmet, but sometimes you want the unhealthy splurge- I love the Lo Mein noodles, steamed pork dumplings, and as a healthy option- the steamed veg and shrimp are good. All portions are generous and the price is cheap.

Mediocre Chinese food at best. The SpareRib tips were over done and tough. The rice was icky, the chicken almond ding was undercooked and the sauce, what there was of it, tasteless. Delivery was speedy and courteous.

II don’t see what all the fuss is about on Yelp with the negative ratings. We ordered the Shrimp with lobster sauce and General Tso’s chicken lunch specials and both were really good. The shrimps were actually jumbo/extra large size, not the small baby shrimps. Yeah, the food is more fast-food Chinese style but what did you expect for $6? Considering the price, the food was very good and the delivery was fast.

Very poor quality ingredients and obviously prepared way in advance ... the broccoli and snow peas in my shrimp and beef dishes were cooked to mush! The beef was greasy and stringy and the "fried" wontons in hot oil were soggy and undercooked. The main dishes are glopped together with rice in leaky styrofoam containers ... not the plastic or waxed cardboard containers used almost everywhere else. Yes, the portions are on the large side, but with such poor quality, who cares? Reasonably fast and polite delivery ... but that, plus a couple of free sodas does not make up for the bad food. NEVER AGAIN!

I had a terrible experience at New Kam Lai. 1. I did not receive the Szechuan Wontons ($5.25) that I ordered 2. I did not receive the order confirmation until 7:49pm despite ordering at 7:18pm 3. The order did not arrive until 8:10pm (52 minutes) 4. I called three times! First time they told me "it left 10 minutes ago." Second I called back 10 minutes later and they again said "it left 10 minutes ago." Third I called back to tell me that I had not ordered Szechuan Wontons! They refused to refund me or offer any other type of solution.
