Pappardella

I paid $20 for chicken parm, and it was just one piece of chicken and about half a cup of pasta. This is way too much. In these times of financial concern for everyone, it is not a good idea to alienate customers with cheap portions like this. I will not be recommending Pappardella to anyone, and I will not be dining there in the future. There are just too many better options.

Sad:-( There were only two places in the neighborhood that made seriously tasty pizza.... Arte Cafe must have switched chefs or something about a month ago, and there crust is no longer any good, but I was counting on Pappardella! Up until a couple of weeks ago, their crust was the best around. The pizza I just ordered, however, is not only nowhere near what I was hoping for, but it's actually a bit gross. Especially considering the price, you'd be better off ordering from Big Nicks or something, I guess? Really unfortunate. And the salad (Insalata Della Riviera) had almost no heart of palm or avocado...and that which it did have was brown and mushy. Incredibly disappointing meal.

Pappardella is very nice in person. However, delivery was terrible. The portions were smaller than they are at the restaurant, and the food was not fresh at all. What a disappointment.

eh, i confused the GF pizza to look and be about the same size as a reg pizza for my husband i...same with a salad. turns out it was a tiny pc of flatbread w/ too much oil on it fit for an appetizer......salad tasted as though it was drenched in butter. no good. never ordering from them again. I also asked for utensils/napkings - did not rcv either.

Fantastic food, and very gluten free friendly - they have a whole separate GF menu! I am a celiac and I have never had a problem.

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the Upper West Side. The Chicken parm is awesome and so are the pizzas. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want great italian food. Kind of expensive but worth it!

Good food quality. I order a pizza to share as a starter and even in the dead of winter - arrived warm and of high quality. The entrees are always good and arrived warm and well presented. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in NY, I am so happy I live nearby!! The pastas are fantastic, service sweet, decor cute authentic Italian - what's not to like?? Everyone I've brought here really enjoyed it. Delivery is also fast and friendly. One time they forgot an item (not having charged me for it) they prepared it immediately and delivered in 10 minutes!

The estimated delivery time was 15-30 minutes and it's been over an hour and my food still isn't here yet. When I called the restaurant to ask them about it they were very rude and could care less. I will not be ordering from here again.

I have ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese many times and every time it gets worse. There is almost no meat in the sauce, it has more tomato seeds than anything, maybe 1/4 cup of meat total. I give it another chance because the delivery is reliable and prices reasonable for the neighborhood, but enough chances.

Not so great... The delivery was ok, but the food was very disappointing. It is way too expensive for what I had. More than $30 for a very small plate of veal with spinach and 3 pieces of potato. The tiramisu also was expensive ($10) and not the best I ate. In other places you can find one around $5 and much better. I went to the restaurant on Columbus Ave once and had the same felling, so I wanted to give it another shot. But definitely disappointing!

The delivery took 45 minutes (the maximum of the estimated range) and food was room temperature. There were no napkins, plates, forks, or bread. The gnocchi was good but the pasta with clams was nearly tasteless with minimal amounts of garlic and no other spices. Even with a 20% discount the value of this meal was quite low. I will not be a repeat customer.

I waited an hour for this order and when it arrived they gave me the wrong pasta and on top of that, it was completely cold. Not impressed and highly doubt I will order from them again. I am sending it back and have been told I will get a full refund. Just couldn't wait another hour for the right dish to maybe come.
