Pines of Florence (Arlington)

Best Italian I've had in the Arlington area. Gnocchi and baked Ziti were great. Cannoli was yummy too!

I ordered the mushroom appetizer and the spaghetti and meatballs. I asked the food to be delivered at 7:45pm, but the driver arrived a bit early. It wasn't a huge deal but it was a little inconvenient. Food wise was delicious. I really liked the sauce and the meatballs. The mushrooms were good as well. The restaurant was very generous with the bread and there was plenty to go along with the meal. I would order again.

The red sauce, sausage, and eggplant were excellently spiced. The antipasto was too romaine heavy and would have benefited from equal portions of the other veggies included (tomato, cucumber, olive).

Very good - big portions. Note that they give you bread and butter with pasta dishes, so unless you want a lot of bread, you dont need to order bread.

This was a great little find back when I first moved to the area and now that they are on seamless I have rediscovered it. The food is always hot and tasty and gives me another option outside of the typical pizza and Chinese joints in the area. Servings are generous and the food is good. I have reserved one star because the food is really better when you eat in, but well worth a try.

They do carbs really well - the pizza dough, rolls, etc, are fantastic. Everything else is good enough.
