Plearn Thai

Lots of chicken in the yellow curry, the wings stuffed with noodles were ok. It might taste better if they were eaten right after being fried. Lots of flavor though! Delivery took over an hour, but that's probably cause its Friday night.

Food was good, but delivery was an overall service failure. Ordered two curry dishes, food arrived with no rice, restaurant failed to answer their phone after multiple attempts.

Delivery time as promised. But the food was subpar. The Pad Kee Mao was greasy, sweet yet surprisingly very salty at the same time. It contained red cabbage, other oil-drenched vegetables and extremely dry chicken. We did not really taste the taro in the Po-Piah-Tod, it was mostly lettuce, some cucumbers and so loosely wrapped that it came apart the moment we tried to pick it up. I don't think two rolls of rice paper wrapped lettuce and a tiny bit tofu should cost $6, and no, it was not "crispy" as stated in the menu. A similar menu issue also presented itself with the last item we ordered. It clearly stated in the item description that Pumpkin Curry is "served over rice," yet when I called them to inquire about the missing rice, the people at Plearn Thai told me it does not come with rice and I should have purchased them on the side I wanted rice with it. Taste wise, the curry was oily and overwhelmingly flavored by spices to a degree that made the dish unpalatable. If you want order from Plearn Thai, double check and make sure your order comes with everything promised on the menu. At this price and this quality, personally I would not order from them again.
