Raj Darbar Indian Restaurant

Second time in a row ordering from them that they did not include napkins, plates, or cutlery. It explicitly says on the receipt that they should include it. When I called, the manager rudely accused me of not specifying that I needed the items. When I called him out on this he made excuses. The food is good, but there are better places that actually know how to properly pack a delivery item.

LOVE RAJ DARBAR~ also love that they are on seamless. A longtime fan. All their veggie options are the best. One of the best Indian options outside of Devon ave.

I ordered from Raj Darbar last night. In my opinion, the food was well below average quality, unfortunately. I had the butter chicken and garlic naan.a Just my two cents. I also paid $25, which for is expensive for Indian food in general, let alone for Indian food of this quality.

I ordered the food to my hotel smack in the middle of Michigan Ave, it took 1:50 hrs to arrive after I placed 3 calls to the restaurant and was provided with low time estimates every time. Finally, i got a call from the delivery man who was wondering the street for 20 minutes unable to find a skyscraper. When i opened the food, there were no utensils.

Decent food, delivery took twice as long as promised. Had to call twice to see what the status was, and each time whoever sounded clueless. Food could have been a little better for the price.

I would've rated this place higher if it weren't for the fact that 1)they increased the price after I placed my order, 2) the food arrived cold, and 3) the delivery itself was a hassle. After placing my order online, I received a call from the the restaurant saying that they would have to add an additional $2.50 delivery fee that would need to be paid in cash. I was certainly not happy about this, but reluctantly agreed. After about an hour of waiting I got another call demanding that I come outside to pick up my order. I explained that the doorman would gladly let the person inside and allow them to deliver the food directly to my door just like countless other delivery people. The delivery person would not budge and I had to go downstairs and outside to pick up the order. To top it all off, the food arrived cold. However, the food did turn out to be pretty good. All in all I think this is probably a good restaurant to visit, but a terrible one to order from.
