Red Basil Thai Kitchen

I love Red Basil Thai Kitchen. The Tofu Pad Thai is really delicious, and the tofu is always well prepared - not soggy. Extremely generous portion sizes, good prices. Also they deliver VERY quickly, it's usually at my door in 15-20 minutes!

Tried for first time yesterday, decent Pad Thai, and prompt delivery service. I'd ticked the "free iced tea for orders over $10" option and, although my total was closer to $9, they gave it to me anyway, so that's super nice of them. Note: the iced tea is quite tasty.

Awful food!!! I have ordered twice because of the close proximity and the Thai fried rice tasted burnt and there was no taste at all. Never order Thai Fried Rice from here.

The food here is awesome when they get your order right...but the customer service SUCKS!!!!! The delivery guy that works for them is so rude I have considered calling Seamless and demanding a refund for my tips. Tonight I waited over an hour for my food and the delivery estimate was only 15-30 minutes. I waited until 40 minutes had passed before I called to ask about my food. Of course, according to them my food was on its way but I guarantee it hadn't even been cooked yet. Another 20 minutes passed after I called and still no food. I live 4 blocks from the restaurant. I can walk there in under 5 minutes. There are other Thai restaurants in the neighborhood that are a little more expensive but I think I'd rather pay more for better customer as opposed to the crappy service I have been getting from them lately. So long Red Basil. Get your act together!!! This is not an economy for a small business to be providing such poor customer service.

The delivery is always on time whatever the weather condition is. The food is delicious, thai iced tea and mango salmon are the best! An today they sent me a free desert which is yummy!!!

We just love, love, love Red Basil. Ordered from several times since we have moved to Astoria and are always satisfied. Always good. Always hot when delivered. Sometimes they put in a bonus desert which always makes me excited!

I've waited to write this review. The first time I ordered food here, I was so happy that the food arrived fast and delicious. Since I never ordered here before, I decided to wait a few more times ordering from Red Basil Thai before writing a review. The delivery times is fast! 30-45 min from the time you receive the confirmation email to the time I get a ring on the doorbell. Honestly, the food is pretty good and it comes hot! I really enjoy their Pad Thai and Curry Puffs! I seem to order them all the time now! I like the Panang Curry as well. I got the curry with squid! It was delicious! The squid was tender and not overcooked and the curry has a kick to it! I also recommend the Thai Ice Tea! You should really try it! We've found our to-go Thai food delivery spot on seamless now! WOHOO!

Delicious Food. It's been difficult for me to find really good Thai food in the LIC / Astoria area. This place is it. Food arrived quickly and was very good. Delicious glass noodle dishes and pad see ew. I highly recommend.

We have been eating here since they opened. Amazing local thai in that it tastes good, is good to look at, owners are terrific warm folks, and if you have food allergies they are very giving and offer great help to adjust dishes and help with suggestions. Totally reasonable prices too for such good food.

This is some of the best Thai in Astoria! The kitchen staff is great, and every order comes with a free banana spring roll dessert! Yum!

Bland, late, and below sub-par, not to mention spilled all over. On top of that, our salad was little more than a quarter tub of shredded carrots. I have had much better mediocre Thai. Skip it.

They used rice noodles instead of egg noodles for the Pad Thai. A risky move, but oh so good. Also, the rice pudding came in little ceramic dishes... for a delivery! The first time I have been compelled to write a review. It's just that good.
