This is the kind of place you only order from when you're drunk and can't get food anywhere else. Even drunk, it's not that great. Not recommended.

Prompt and courteous delivery. Toppings were reasonably fresh and abundant. Cheese was plentiful and well-heated. Crust and sauce were disappointing, and that's really 90% of the pizza. I had a generally good experience with Royalty, but the pizza was not nearly the rave I read about on Yelp. San Francisco seems to consistently fail the crust test -- far too thick, far too doughy/starchy, far too undercooked. This may be what most San Francisans want from their pizza (I doubt it), but I find it to be a disappointment. Again, good experience, but severely mediocre pizza.

I ordered a cheesy garlic bread and chicken ceasear salad. The order was ready on time and very quick service. With that being said, the cheesy garlic bread was some disappointing for the portion size (only 4 pieces of hoagie bread). The salad was quite good and the chicken helped it out with flavor. Good service and friendly employees. Give it a try.
