Rumi

Very disappointing. The falafel was very, very dry. And I'm sure the stuffed grape leaves were great when they were first made, but they had to be at least 3-4 days old. Really disgusting and soggy. Also, the hummus -- which is admittedly fantastic -- doesn't come with any pita bread. At least my order didn't include any. Also, even though Seamless Web (and my delivery person) identified the restaurant as "Rumi," the receipt says Cafe Istanbul. I didn't realize the two were the same(?)

I ordered the arugula salad (comes with tomatoes, croutons, lemon juice, olive oil, and feta cheese) with chicken. When my food arrived, it was just plain spinach and chicken. No tomatoes, no croutons, no lemon juice, no olive oil, no cheese. Just spinach and chicken. I called to inform Rumi of the mix up, and the gentleman on the phone assured me they would send the correct order over. After more than an hour with no word, I called Rumi again. They were out of the arugula salad for the day. He assured me that they did in fact still carry arugula salad on the menu, but were just out of it for the day. He had meant to call me but had forgotten. He offered me the salad of my choice to make up for the trouble. By this time it was after 2:00pm, and I had already eaten, so I asked if they could bring me a salad for lunch the next day. He agreed, so I asked for the arugula salad, with chicken, to be delivered the next day at noon. A few minutes later, he called me back to tell me that, contrary to his early assurances, they no longer offer the arugula salad. But he could offer me another salad of my choice. I asked about the mushroom salad, and when he started to say they could add mushrooms, I had to explain that it was not just a salad with mushrooms on it, but a separate menu item. He assured me they would deliver it (with chicken) the next day at noon. We shall see. I remain skeptical.

The mujver appetizer is very good. So is the lamb shank, though I wish they'd offer an alternative to the bed of rice (there's nothing wrong with the rice, but I'm not supposed to eat that). The salad that comes with is simple but fresh. Service has typically been good, too. This is one of the few delivery spots that I can recommend.

I've ordered a few times and the food has been consistently good. I generally request extra veggies and no rice and everything comes as requested.

kibbeh was supposed to come w/yogurt dressing - it didn't mozzarella salad had onions on it, even though there was nothing in the menu description saying that it came w/onions I ordered ranch dressing for the salad, but they sent something else

They forgot my salad dressing, which was disappointing, but they said I could get a discount next time. Other than that, food was good, delivery was quick.

HORRIBLE. I ordered at 6:50 PM and finally received my food at 9:10 PM, nearly 2.5 hours later after having to call and get Seamless involved. And on top of that, they forgot my red bull.

The chicken hummus sandwich has little to no hummus and no matter what flavor ice cream you order, they always deliver the wrong one.

The food is delicious but the delivery is lacking. They either cant deliver on time or an item is forgotten and twice I have had to walk over to the restaurant and pick up the food myself.

The restaurant failed to include the hummus and tahini sauce in spite of it being included in the item description. The meal was also quite cold.
