Sakura of Japan

Ordered from Sakura of Japan, got food from Sushi Time. If i wanted Sushi Time, i would have ordered it. It's not hard to change Sakura of Japan to Sushi Time. curious as to why they haven't changed.

Horrible service, I am writing this 1 hour and 25 minutes after I have ordered my food which is still not here. Have called twice and was given the standard "its on its way answer". I will never again order from Sakura!

I specifically ordered from this restaurant because the estimated delivery time was 15-30 minutes. Nearly an hour later, my food had still not arrived. I called the restaurant and they told me it was on the way. After an hour, I cancelled the order.

Hibachi steak was dry and not hibatchi style. Udon noodles were too soggy and questionable. How do you not include soy sauce in the bag ?!? Wouldn't order from there again

Order took way too long to deliver (20 minutes above the high end of the estimation) - even after I called to complain. No wasabi or low sodium soy. Sushi dinner plate was far too expensive for what was actually delivered (medium tier quality sushi with california roll). Salad lacked dressing. Miso was standard.

Order was wrong, specifically asked for no dressing on salad due to an allergy, and salad came with dressing, needed to be thrown out

Worst service I have experienced, Ever. And I order seamless every single day. If I could give no stars, I would. The food took an 1h15 min to be delivered (the restaurant claims 15min-30min). The food tastes like sawdust and the order was wrong (used white rice, not brown, even though I paid for brown). After 40 minutes I called to check on the order, and was exposed to the least apologetic, most venomous woman on the other line. Don't bother ordering here. A waste.

I read some of the unhappy reviews after I ordered from here, and got worried, but the food has arrived and it is GOOD! The only reason i don't give a full 5 stars is that the miso soup isn't the best i've ever had (though it's still pretty darn good), but my very picky office-mates join me in applauding the sushi. Fresh, big pieces, and they paid attention to the notes i had made in the order.

Worst Japanese food in NYC, the gyu-don was bland, I also ordered a soup which was not found in my bag, didn't bother to call to complain because the food was so bad.

I'm always on the lookout for a good roll combo - and roll combo B is my favorite here - includes a spicy tuna roll, salmon avocado, and a eel cucumber roll. pretty fresh sushi, little rice on the outside. Overall, it's been my favorite in the area for a fast inexpensive sushi delivery.
