I've ordered from Sauce before when it first opened and it was fine, but they seemed to have slipped. I ordered the stacked salad, which seemed overdressed. A side of the sausage that came cold. I asked for "no cheese" on top of my pasta because I am lactose and there was cheese on top. Wasn't impressed with the food, will probably not be ordering from again.

Hard to rate food if it doesn't arrive. I live 7 blocks away and its been over 2 hours now with no food. Avoid sauce, unless you like two hour waits.

Chef Frank's refined and defined his magic recipe for success in Sauce. I grew up Itaiian in a family that takes its meals most seriously, so Sauce is like waking up in my grandmother's dining room, it's that authentic: love the home-made meatballs, sausage and braciole (special pork belly braciole an extra treat); the mezzanelle amatriciana trachiolelle is a worthy final meal, challenged closely by the porterhouse, n pasta's also top-rate, especially the ice-box fusili, with delish contorti (check the beets and berries, yams and broccolli rabe) and homemade desserts (panna cotta and tira misu among best in City). Mangia and Cent'anni!

The food here is so good, but they really shouldn't even bother taking seamless orders. They obviously can't handle it. They told me my food went out the door 45 minutes ago (which was already way past the estimated delivery time) and it's still not here.

Never again. Portions were SMALL and arrived cold. If your food does not travel well, you shouldn't offer delivery.

They sent the delivery with one item that I paid for missing. I called them and they were very unappologetic and just sent the poor delivery guy back out with the item. I also asked if they could include some bread and they said they "ran out" of bread. As far as the food, kinda slimey with no taste. Had the grass-fed bolognase and was really disappointed. One of the worst I've had. Not normally much of a reviewer but was shocked that this place is getting such great reviews.

It was just OK. Portions were really small, the garlic bread was burnt and greasy, and it wasn't that flavorful. I'll go back to my usual Italian delivery spot for sure.

They do NOT have delivery together. Forgot 2 things out of 5 on our order, though they did bring one later. Lasagna was 2 bites (literally). Garlic bread is one piece - but it is tasty. Meatballs & sausage were very good. Don't know about the kale salad, because we never got the dressing so the salad was a handful of kale with a couple croutons. Makes me sad because we love Lil Frankies' and the delivery guy was very nice.

Attention: the potato linguine is literally wet strings of potato with no discernable flavor, and a nicely cooked egg on top. Garlic bread was good.

Terrible. I can't believe I paid $10 for their smokey tomato salad. What arrived was chopped up supermarket tomatoes with some herbs sprinkled on top. They were NOT smokey nor were they even seasoned. Talk about lying to the customer.

Good food--amazing garlic bread, but the portions are too small for the price.
