This is without a doubt the best Indian food in Astoria. Their only flaw is that they have a slightly limited menu for an Indian restaurant.

OK, granted I am across the street by I just got my order in 9 minutes. NINE MINUTES!! I mean, how can they even cook that fast? some places can't even confirm within that time. Oh yeah, they are also the best Indian food in NYC, btw.

Seva is consistently amazing. The Saag Paneer and pakora are both incredible. Solid chicken tikka masala.

Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Astoria, possibly all of NYC. Food is healthy, tasty and well spiced. Especially love their vegan options!

We love, love, love Seva. The bok choy blossoms are absolutely fabulous. Yum! Who would've thought that deep fried bok choy would be so good? The breading that they use for them has a delightful spicyness to it that is also very yummy. We are always impressed with their food, never too greasy, well seasoned, fresh items. My sister-in-law even orders food from them for take-out to bring home with them to the Bronx when they come to visit. She tried it once at our house and loved it and looks forward to it.

Okay, so it's raining cats and dogs outside and even though they said they'd get the food to me within 45 minutes, they got it to me in an hour. That said, hand to God, if I were on Death Row in prison and I had to order a last meal, it would be from Seva. I would order the Garlic Naan, Lamb Spring Roll, Vegetable Samosa, and either the Lamb Korma or Baigan Bharta. This food is the best Indian food in the city, and I have several Indian friends who have made some of the same dishes for me at home and all due respect to their cooking, but Seva is amazing. If you are craving Indian food, look nowhere else. Astoria is a lucky neighborhood.
