I've ordered from here a lot recently and their food is always good. I've ordered their general tso's, bulgolgi, and moo shu chicken, along with hot and sour and egg drop soups. The soup is really good - has a lot of flavor. The general tso's is really good, but we've had to ask for it extra spicy because at first it was more sweet than spicy and the moo shu chicken was good too. They deliver within about 40-45 minutes usually but they come all the way out to Santa Monica, so that's fine with me. Just order before you get too hungry.

The menu says that when you order 2 or more combination plates you get the soup of the day but each combination plate says that it comes with a specific soup so I thought when I ordered the hong kong combination plate, I would be getting hot and sour soup. I didn't get any soup and when I called, they yelled at me that the menu is not confusing and it's been the same menu for 18 years. Well... sorry... it confused me. To make matters worse, the broccoli was very undercooked, the fried rice was salty and dry, and one of the appetizers was very burnt.

I thought I was going to have a hard time finding good Chinese food here in Santa Monica after a recent unpleasant experience with another restaurant, and there aren't that many in this area. Soybean was just as good as any Chinese place in New York and they had my favorite appetizer, cold sesame noodles!
