It's snowing like crazy outside. I felt a bit guilty forcing the poor delivery guy to bring me massive amounts of comfort food. But, of course he was so gracious and polite (and cute)! There is no better nourishment on a cold winter day that Tea & Sympathy! Everything is so delicious -- Welsh Rarebit, Lamb Shepherd's Pie, English Peas, Mac-n-Cheese, and Sticky Toffee Pudding! It doesn't get any better than this!

Tea & Sympathy has got to be the best quality food I’ve ever had that was delivered. Everything on the menu is delicious. Cooked well, I always love the containers they come in, and the delivery gentlemen are wonderful. Kind, polite, and evidently they're all British! T&S is my favourite place to order lunch!

I love the food from Tea and sympathy. The delivery isn't long (I got my order really fast, 20- 30min)...I recommend to try the pot pie...amazing!! Haven't tried desserts yet but I'm sure they are as tasty as the rest!

Excellent fare, I was not a huge fan of the coronation chicken, seemed to be lacking in the curry department. Otherwise the meal was enjoyable (I had a set of Finger Sandwiches along with scones and cream for after.) I'll have to stop in person one day so that I can get a fresh cup of tea with my lunch (or dinner.) Either way it's on the rotation. The other sandwiches I had were Egg Salad and Ham and Cream Cheese ,both were great. The bread is perfect, and the bread:filling ratio was also well balanced. All in all a bit of curry powder shy of a 5-star rating.

I love Tea and Sympathy! They have the best scones and my favorite thing, Shepard's Pie! I also love the Cottage Pie, which is very similar. They are always nice on the phone and in person and usually deliver in pretty good time. I just wish they were open later so that I could order from them more often. Yum, so good!

Tea and Sympathy is true to it's English roots. The sticky toffee pudding, with custard of course, is literally the only thing that gets me through the work day sometimes!

I found myself ordering from Tea and Sympathy in my quest to indulge a serious comfort food craving for mac and cheese; I ended up ordering the scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream to "round out" my meal. The delivery was quick and friendly—I mean, who will EVER complain at the sight of an attractive English delivery guy bearing hot, delicious food?—and I wasted no time in bringing my meal upstairs to dig in. I was immediately impressed with the packaging: it came double-wrapped with each item packed separately to keep the bag neat and the food hot. The mac and cheese was phenomenal, if not a little salty; rich, sharp, creamy sauce and al dente noodles baked to perfection with a layer of cheese on top. The scones were also fantastic when paired with the thick, sweet jam and buttery clotted cream. My only complaint is that, though the portion size was adequate, it was rather overpriced. In retrospect, I can't believe I paid $20 for mac and cheese and scones. However, the food is just that good; next time I'm in the mood for an English comfort classic, I won't hesitate to order from Tea and Sympathy.

Had the selection of Tea Sandwiches which were very good, especially the Cucumber & Cream Cheese. The Thick Chicken Soup wasn't very "thick" but did have large chunks of real chicken in every bite. A little expensive but overall very good food and friendly service.

The ONLY PLACE DOWNTOWN that i've found that has any integrity! and they have it in droves! and I mean of all the restaurants downtown, I ate at many of them while in ny con this trip, including stupid horrible Pastis with their pretentious and ill fated choice of spices, etc- anyway, this place is a GEM! DELICIOUS food, very high quality ingredients (which is a miracle in ny now, it seems all salads come a week old, not here!) and just simply STELLAR, YUMMY! food, the kind of food that really does taste like your mum made it for you . I LOVE YOU TEA AND SYMPATHY!!

We love, love, love Tea and Sympathy. No one makes better tuna or egg salad then T&S Their tea sandwiches are stellar and make one feel positively genteel, which in this day and age is swell. .Also love their pies, Chicken & Leek, Shepherd's, Salmon & Cod, and their Macaroni & Cheese is divine. Also their cheddar and pickle sandwich. And their desserts! OMG! When it's cold outside this is the place for food. Delivered fast from well mannered, handsome young men.

Really disappointed by the lack of customer service. I ordered dinner 2 hours ago and they've casually said, "it's on the way" when I called an hour ago. And again when I called 30 minutes ago. And again when I called 15 minutes ago. C'mon guys...

Terrible! The Chicken Pot Pie I ordered was basically just a big vat of cream that was so rich I could barely eat a few sloppy bites without feeling sick. Not much chicken or vegetables in it.
