Telio

HELL NO!! We waited over 90 mins for $50 worth of freezing cold appetizers and soggy souvlaki sandwiches. After 2 phone calls, the restaurant offered no explanation for their lateness nor any apology. I would NEVER order from Telio again. Terribly disappointing.

I have enjoyed most of the things that I have ordered from Telio, but I have to say that no matter if I order the grilled or the fried calamari, it has NEVER arrived with the mentioned "spicy tomato sauce" that is supposed to accompany it. Plain calamari is rather bland.

We called once the order was 15-30 min late just to be told that they hadn't left but were leaving soon. Weren't particularly friendly about it. Finally offered us something extra, but just not nice and very late.

Lentil soup was insanely salty. The salad I ordered was pretty much just a bunch of ingredients thrown together, nothing special. The homemade greek yogurt with honey was fantastic. Thick, creamy and rich. Good stuff. Might try some of their more typical stuff (e.g. Souvlaki etc...).

great greek food for the location (astoria is really where it's at), fresh ingredients and most importantly great service. there was a discrepancy between the menu published on seamlessweb and the actual restaurant menu, but the manager took care of it without any fuss and went out of his way to be helpful - we'll be back.

Decent delivery time, food is always amazing. may forget the white taziki sauce so remember to make a note on the order. pizza is definteily better than average. i have not had a better gyro, ever.

I ordered The Kotopoulo Souvlaki and a Walnut cake. Here's MY review: FOOD TASTE: 2 STARS**JUST OK. The RICE came in an OIL POOL, very greasy. The SOUVLAKI was short on seasoning and salt. That's for someone like me, that doesn't enjoy salty foods. The bread that came with it was good though. FOOD PORTION: 4 STARS**** generous amount. FOOD PRESENTATION: 3 STARS*** DELIVERY TIME: 2 STARS** They were 5 minutes late, so I have waited around 55 mins for it. DELIVERY PERSON: 4 STARS****. POLITE. Since to me what matters the most is how the food tastes and how it's presented, I'll give an overall rating of 2.5 stars. I MIGHT TRY THEIR PIZZA if there is a next time...because the Kotopoulo Souvlaki I'll never order again. The walnut cake is more like a walnut baklava. Tasted ok but tooo grasy....I will not order desert from this place again. Thanks for your time...

Pita and lamb were burnt and gyro did not come with any vegetables other than that what was in the included salad. Soup was bland. Fries were good on the plus side and I counted 30 ketchup packets they gave me.

Favorite items are the Greek Spread appetizer (always a pleaser) and the gyro sandwiches-- we always have leftovers.
