The Original Soup Man/Ranch 1 (Pearl St.)

I ordered from both menus (soup and chicken sandwich). Food was acceptable, nothing special. Delivery was an hour late though.

This place is just terrible. I placed my order and an hour later still hadn't gotten it so I called and they said the guy had just left. How would you know that if you didn't even ask for my name? But fine, maybe I'm the only person who had placed an order through Seamless... so I waited another half an hour and still nothing. So I called again only to be told by someone else that my order had been sent out already and they had NO IDEA why it hadn't gotten to me, but as soon as the delivery guy came back they would find out what happened. That doesn't help me after I've been waiting an hour and a half for my lunch and can't leave the office. Do yourself a favor and don't believe the 10-25 minute delivery time, even if you're only 2 blocks away from the restaurant.

Right now I'm still waiting for our food, so this review isn't for the food. An order of over $100 for 14 people to have a SCHEDULED lunch meeting. Food needs to be on time or at least close. I just called, truthfully 25 minutes after placing the order, and the initial response I got when inquiring hold much longer our order will be, "30-45 minutes, we're working on it now". I said, "Excuse me I placed my order about 30 minutes ago". After being on hold for a while, the updated time was "10-15 minutes". Seriously!? For SOUP!?!?! Our office is AROUND THE CORNER!!! I felt I was taking a risk by ordering from this place and I was proven right. SMH.

Great -perfect wings! Yum! Fast delivery, great food! Crispy and really good! Big portion for great price. Will def order again! Salad and wings, both great!

This review is for the soup, I do NOT enjoy Ranch 1. The soup was delicious and the sandwich was good. they did forget my salad, which is why i took one star away. They also came pretty quickly. I'd order again.

Soup is stupendous, Al's sandwiches are great, the Ranch 1 Classic is great, too but overall the soup is stupendous.

the soup tasted good and that's the only nice thing I can say other tjhan it came within and hour. It stated that all soup came with 'fruit and chocolate' -- mine came with a tootsie roll which must be one of the 'chocolate pieces'. My custom salad order was missing half the things I requested -- and therefore payed for -- with something I'm allergic to in their place. AND when I called to discuss this, I got a fax machine on the contact number they provide.

Not nearly as good as the original one uptown. My panini was cold and obviously not fresh (as I can tell by the wilted lettuce). Also, my soup tasted like it came out of the can!!! Imitation crab meat and tons of oregano...not good.
