Tuscan Hills

I was looking for a good Italian restaurant to order for out-of-town visitors and decided based on the reviews. We are completely disappointed - the lasagna was caked in mozzarella, yet didn't have a drop of ricotta, which every Italian would use for their "homemade" lasagna. The food was completely mediocre, which I was not expecting from a restaurant that charges for $18 for a pasta entree. The tiramisu tasted good, but I will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered a few of the appetizers for lunch. The food was delicious and craftily-prepared - I loved that they labeled each container so it was easy to tell whose was which without opening everything. Can't wait to try the main courses. The delivery took well over an hour after being quoted 45 minutes, but I'm 20+ blocks away in Rego Park, and the guy apologized, saying there was traffic without me even saying anything, which was really nice of him. Will definitely order again and hopefully the delivery time will be better.

I love Nick's Pizzeria but they do not deliver so the next best is Tuscan Pizza it is really good and it reminds me of "ALMOST" like Nick's. I have been happy so far. Their is thin crust which I love.

Ordered the Tartufina pizza. It was indeed good -- especially considering what's available in Rego Park. Tasted fresh and gave me the feeling whoever prepared it cared about their craft. The only negative I want to add is that the delivery person complained to me that the restaurant is very far from my location... Excuse me, it's NOT my responsibility to keep track of that; it's yours. If it's too far, configure the Seamlessweb account such that you are not delivering to places that you deem too far away. I gave the guy a 6 dollar tip even though I thought he handled the situation completely rudely and wrong.
