Udom Thai Restaurant & Bar

I bought 1 appetizer and 2 entrees and the delivery took an hour and 15 minutes. It was definitely not worth the wait. The Chicken Pad Thai wasn't very good, there was barely any flavor, even though the "regular" spice level was selected. The chicken was completely unseasoned. However, I've also tried the highest spice level, and couldn't finish because my eyes were watering and mouth was burning. So there is no inbetween, either no flavor, or your mouth is on fire. And the fried wontons were soggy by the time the food was delivered. I definitely wouldn't recommend

But all of it turned out to be way too sweet and unrecognizably Thai. It's such a shame; these simple dishes can be very soothing food, like soul food." Best tofu in the area. Summer rolls are not worth it, however. I love all the vegetarian options and my boyfriend is crazy for the pad Thai and curries.

Portions are huge--the pad thai is enough for two to share, same with the fried rice. Flavors are great and we've never had an issue with our food being late or cold. Wish the prices were cheaper but the food is still good.

This is the best Thai delivery in the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area. Even though it takes longer than Fulton Thai or Thai 101 or the others, it's way, way better. The Tom Kha soup is one of my favorites as well as the Pineapple Red Curry and Massaman Curry. Both have lots of big veggies and good spices. Also, the thai iced coffee or tea are damn good.

Every single time I order here it takes at least an hour and a half. Most times I have to call because I start to wonder if they even got my order at all. It's a shame too because I love the Pad Thai and its the only place around me making it that I really like. It wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't list list a 45-60 min delivery time, just change it if you are going to be so consistently later.

We decided to branch out from our usual Friday night choices-and were sooo happy we did. The Tom Kha soup and Wonton soup was bomb, and the Orange Duck, although pretty fatty, was delicious! The green curry gives you a pretty decent amount of tofu and veggies, and it took about 45 min to deliver- which is what we were expecting. Still arrived warm! They even packaged the Thai iced teas in the sealed bubble tea containers-brownie points. Added to our list of favorites.

We order from Udom at least twice each month (and have for several months) and they are always consistently speedy. Sometimes I'm shocked at how quickly food arrives, as in within 15-20 minutes of the confirmed order. Not sure what the deal is for some people, but time is not a problem for us.

Where can one get real Thai food in Brooklyn? I'm so tired of over sweetened noodle mush. This place will do in a pinch but you'll be happier with diminished expectations.

Udom Thai will ruin your plans for the night. 2+ hour delivery time, every time, heed my warning. The food's good, but if you really want it dine in, or else you'll go hungry.

After 90 minutes of waiting for my delivery, I called to have Udom Thai tell me the driver had already left. Thirty minutes later I called again. They had lied the first time and said he left before he did. The food came COLD 2+ hours after ordering.
