wow; tried this place once again and the food was inedible. Nothing but red pepper. A plot to take revenge on tourists? This is one local who will not be eating here again soon.

Very expensive for food that is not very good. Must be a tourist trap. Ribs were dry, collards had a sickly-sweet tinge, mashed potatoes were pretty good. BBQ sauce was very sour and unbalanced. For the high prices Virgils charges they should pay more attention to food quality.

The food is always great, but the prices keep me from ordering as often as I would if they were more reasonable. That being said, I'm still very thankful I'm within delivery range for Virgils. It's far better than any other BBQ place in my area. The others fall very short.

Where to begin. 1st time i ordered had pulled pork sandwch and liked it. 2nd time had the same thing and it was terrible. big tough chunks of pork and very little bbq sauce. Just got done with my 3rd and final time. ordered Ribs and beef brisket combo. brisket tasted like lighter fluid!!!! I mean lighter fluid? Amateurs make this mistake. Ribs? forget it. had the look of chinese spare ribs with a rub on them and were tougher than i've ever had (bbq or chinese). Mashed potato's were actually the best part and there wasn't enough. it was real potato's . I'm suspicious that this is a chinese restaurant posing as a BBQ place, like some of those tex mex places.

I do not understand this place anymore. They get your order wrong and, when you call to inquire, they say they will send a delivery person out to fix it (while the food they got right goes cold) or, in the alternative, insist that you contact Seamless for a fix. Also, if you are diabetic, or just do not want excessive sugar in your food (even the collard greens), please look elsewhere. I used to like this place, but it needs to shape up or shut down.

Ok, so I've eaten here a million times, and I almost think the delivery was better!!!! Crazy. Collard greens and cole slaw are my fave and they have amazing hush puppies, as well as dry rub bbq. I accidentally sent the delivery to my home, and not my office, which is where I was, and the guy was super nice, and didn't complain when he brought it to the correct place! Food was fresh and amazing, and I am super excited to be able to get this whenever I want now!!!

If you remember the good days of Virgil's, don't waste your money. It's not good anymore. Ribs not smokey, greens have too much sugar. My order was supposed to come with Cole Slaw automatically but didn't. I'm so disappointed that they are no longer any good. Two stars because delivery was fairly quick.

Ribs are excellent, speedy delivery but the sides are a bit on the small side.
