Wok N Roll Asian Bistro (Adams Morgan)

Tonight was the LAST time I will dine at/order online from this place. The food is fine (not great, just fine) but it does not make up for their service and delivery crimes. I knew I had to work late, so I went online to their vendor Eat24 and placed my order from the office for future delivery (3 hours later), so that my food would be ready when I got home. They attempted to deliver my food half an hour after I ordered it (ie, 2 1/2 hours early), and left a rude voice mail message for me when they couldn't reach me (I wasn't home, obviously). When I got home 3 hours later, I learned from my building's front desk that the delivery person had tried to LEAVE THE FOOD WITH HER! Unbelievable. They don't seem to understand the concept of a future order, nor did they read my order closely. Is this really a way to run a business? Their service inside the restaurant is also consistently bad and inattentive, and they are lacking some really basic restaurant management skills. Their menu (both printed and online) lacks descriptions for many cryptically-named sushi rolls such as "Wok 'n' Roll" and "Great California Roll" (plain old "California Roll" appears right below it with a different price, what's the difference between the two rolls?

I have a minor obsession with the Dynamite Roll. I love the baked spicy scallop on top - you don't see that kind of roll at many of the sushi places that deliver in DC. I try to switch up my sushi restaurants, but I always end up coming back to Wok N Roll, because I just can't quit the Dynamite.

definite good choice for cheap eats and if you just can't decide on Chinese or Japanese food. Wok N Roll has good sushi at an excellent price.

My friends and I order Wok N Roll a lot when we're all splitting food. Good for sharing sushi and Chinese food, especially.

Don't order from here. Please save yourself the trouble. They've "lost" my order more than once, deliver it to the wrong address, or take 2 hours to actually get it to you. It used to be good but the delivery problem is just too much. Calling them just gets you a barely understandable worker or a pissed off manager that blames you for their incompetence. Will not order again.

If i could give this no stars, i would. Delivery took over an 1 and 30 mins, though advertised wait was 30-45. When i called to check in on it an hour later, i was told 15 more mins. Then when I called to check in after those 15 mins, i was told another 15 mins. I tried to cancel my order, but the woman just repeated 15 mins and hung up on me. I ended up taking the food because I was hungry and pissed, and it was pretty foul. I had ordered edamame which was really slimy and cold. I also ordered the vegetable dumplings which were not hot either. The dumpling part was waaay too doughy and heavy. It was the texture of cheap white bread after you squish it into a ball. Disgusting. I'm pretty positive it was just steamed white bread with a small amount of shredded veggies. The sushi I could hardly eat, but it was mediocre at best. Just...never again. Incredibly disappointing. Thoroughly disgusting.

30 minutes late. The food was inedible - sushi smelled horrible and the dumplings were truly disgusting. I will not order from here again.

I'll give them one star because their delivery service was prompt. However, after my meal, I was immediately sick, and spent the entire night reminded why I'll never order from them again. Szechuan crispy beef used to be a favorite of mine. I think they've ruined it for me, forever.

I've eaten at the restaurant before and the food is excellent. Call them before you order online to make sure you are in their delivery range. I found out that even though this restaurant shows up on the page for restaurants that delivery to my home address, I'm not actually in their range. Even if you can't get it delivered, the food is amazing and at a good price.
