The WORST delivery EVER! Ordered through Seamless Web and the order took over an hour and the food was ice cold. Zen Palate's excuse was that the delivery guy was new. NEVER again!

About eight years ago, I was a huge fan of Zen Palate. I use to go to the ZP in Union Square and also the one on Long Island. By over, the last eight years, I've gone to lots of vegetarian restaurants, and I do not feel that ZP holds it's weight. However, I still like their starters, espeically The Autumn Rolls.

The yam fries are super tasty and thick...the absolute best! The gardenbuger was very tasty, and the sauce on it is just enough - doesn't "weigh" the sandwich down! The bun was good too...sometimes multigrain bread is too "sweet" because "lighter" multigrain bread sometimes has sugar, but this bun was right on the mark. I also ordered the taro spring rolls, and they were flavorful, but REALLY small given the price. Fast delivery, but because I was unimpressed with the taro rolls, I can only give Zen Palate 4 stars.

Meh, I guess I got what I was asking for by ordering from a place called Zen Palate! I grew up vegetarian, and am well-exposed to fake meat. I absolutely love the stuff, though it can be really starchy and glutenous (to the point where it actually becomes way more unhealthy than meat!). A great example of this is the famous (or more like infamous) sesame medallions from Zen Palate. I mean, ew. Big, thick, starchy lumps. The sauce was fine, sure, but ick. My arteries were so mad at me for like a week. Just say no to fake healthy food, New York!

Zen Palate offers a delicious vegan menu, with inspired meals that taste great. I try to eat vegetarian regularly, and ZP doesn't disappoint. (Well, they do ever since they stopped delivering to my address... Sadness!) That said, next time I'm in Union Square I will definitely drop in for a Shredded Heaven and Banana Bliss!

I love Zen Palate, I was so happy when they re-opened a union square location! I especially love the wonton soup, and the moo shoo veggies! Always quick, friendly, customer oriented service.

Very consistent quality, great presentation. Have been eating at Zen Palette for some 10 years now. I am extremely glad they are once again delivering to the East Village from their new Union Square location. Food is always fresh and delivered quickly. Highly recommended.

Zen Palate, I love you. My order came quicker than promised, and it was hot and delicious. Every part of my meal was wonderful: generous portions, flavorful but not greasy, and super fresh veggies. I'd order from them every day if I could. Their segmented takeout containers are also great for reusing.

Delivery estimate was 45 minutes max and the food is still at the restaurant 70 minutes later per the restaurant and they still think it will take another 30 for delivery guy to return and finally come out to us. The only had one guy tonight.

Rated at 20-35 minutes delivery. My first (and last) order took over an hour, and I'm only a handful of blocks away. Food was fine, and I'll still dine in, but never again delivery.

the food came right on time. I was so impressed!! I got the wonton soup, steamed rice and Zenham & Avocado sandwich. The soup was hot and fresh, the spinach in the soup was so fresh. The sandwich was beautiful and delicious, especially the secret spread! I have no bad comments, this place was amazing i will definitely order again!

I got the scallion pancake and the brown rice stir fry. The scallion pancake was not what I was expecting since it was pretty different than any other one I have ever had; however, it was still pretty good. The brown rice stir fry was just ok. Usually the best part is eating the leftovers, but I really didn't want to eat these. So I'm not sure I'll ever order from here again.
