The sushi we received had a very "fishy" taste, which to me either means not sushi grade or not fresh. I am picky about my sushi. There are better sushi places in Jersey City with comparable prices which I have never had this problem with.

Best sushi in Jersey City- always fresh, fast delivery, I've never been disappointed. I've tried most other surrounding sushi places & none come close.

We order sushi delivery at least once a week, so we've tried every option in Hoboken at one time or another. The last 6-8 times we've ordered, though, it's been from Illuzion every time. The delivery is always timely, but MOST important, the sushi is always abundant and fresh. Rolls have healthy chunks of fresh fish, and the spicy rolls aren't overly mayo-ey. The chirashi is a LOT of food, and these are no small slices of sashimi. Even with all of this, the prices are more reasonable than other lesser sushi restaurants nearby. I recommend these guys 100%. You may want to supply your own soy sauce if sweet soy sauce isn't your thing, though.

Great chinese food (best I have found in Hoboken) that is fresh, not loaded with MSG and cheap ingredients. Lots of vegetables with every dish. The sushi rolls are pretty good too!

Decent sushi in a pinch. Fast delivery. Broad menu. The grilled chicken dish is a healthy dinner choice here. The vegetarian duck is pretty good. Sushi/Sashimi combo does not come with enough ginger or soy - ask for more and they will send.

I love their food whether it is their sushi, Chinese food, deli sandwiches or Mediterranean food (their shwarma is amazing). They deliver in a timely fashion but their service is horrible- when you call they put you on hold every other sentence you say. The. This afternoon I specifically asked for a special mango flavored sauce they have and even called them to them to include it but they didn't...

Sushi is really good (5 star), service is incredibly bad/non-existent (0 stars) and hot appetizers showed up cold (1 star), not room temp, but cold. They clearly don't understand Seamless, so calling for delivery or getting takeout might be fine, but they can take 15-20 mins to check their orders and send a confirm and they don't adjust their delivery estimates. It took my food 1 hr 38 mins when I was given a 30-45 min estimate. I called after 1:15 to check on delivery and they immediately went on the attack saying I had only ordered 55 mins ago (which was when they checked seamless 20 mins after my order) and they were extremely busy so my food would show up "any time" even though their estimate had been 30-45 mins.
In summary, the food is in fact really good, so if you are patient or know well in advance of your hunger pangs what you want to eat, then definitely order here (just avoid the hot apps/entrees). However, if you get pi$$ed off at bad service stay away because there is a high risk you'll be infuriated by this place. I personally will see if they do takeout and would walk 10 blocks for the food, but no more delivery from here on out.
