Hands down the best Italian food delivery in the Murray Hill/Flatiron/Gramery/Midtown East area.
All the pastas/noodles are homeade, and it makes a huge difference. Rather than getting the usual pre-cooked, boil-and-serve Ronzoni type noodles you get at most other pasta/pizza places, Piccolo serves up real, dense, perfectly al dente/chewy penne, linguine, and others. The sauces are also very good, though I recommend keeping some crushed red pepper or parmesan cheese on hand at home to flavor to your liking.
The tiramisu is fantastic as well, though it appears to have shrunk slightly in size since the first time I ordered it - still worth it though.
Delivery is always very quick, and located on a nice block if you want to pick-up as well. And if you do decide to go pick-up, the staff is always very friendly and will accomodate you if you have any special requests or needs.
Recommended dishes - spaghetti with meatballs, linguine bolognese, tiramisu.

Canolli's were amazing, mozzarella sticks were hard and cold, meatball sandwich was good, but sauce was sort of bland. Cheese was gobbed together. Consistency moist

Unfortunate. Ordered and received the one of two main dishes incorrectly. No big deal. However, inquiring to my doorman as to a "tip" after I had left more than 20% already online doesn't sit well with me at all.

This place gets a bad rap for some reason - I don't know why.
It's perfect for so many reasons. The food is almost always consistently decent, the delivery is quick, and they always listen to the special instructions. Friendly service if you call/delivery guys are always pleasant. This is not some gourmet Italian place, but it serves its purpose for a weeknight dinner, 3am drunk run, or a really hung over mozzarella stick craving.

this is my go-to for italian. i can only speak for the pastas b/c that's all i order but it's my fave in this area. i can't believe there are people saying patsy's is better... they must be from arkansas. the sauces are tasty the pasta is cooked perfectly al dente - which scores huge points for me. I hate over cooked pasta. The portion size is average. Its a little expensive. i just spent $30 on pasta and fried mozzarella. Sometimes delivery can take 45 minutes or so. But I've never had to wait over an hour or it not show up. i've tried plenty of italian in the area and keep coming back to notaro b/c I like their pastas the best.

Has been my go-to neighborhood Italian restaurant since they were a hole in the wall on Hudson Street nearly 10 years ago. Ecstatic that they are now on Seamless. Also great in person. Unpretentious, great food. Neighborhood atmosphere. Always a winner.
I must write a positive review for Amadeus. Today is my 7th time ordering from them in the past 3 months. First of all, Amadeus's pricing is fair and reasonable. I usually order philly cheese stake for the most times, it tastes superb. I'm extremely picky about italian pastas and today's meat sauce pasta took me back to Milan. And, the volume they serve is beyond the capacity of my gut. Best delivery food in New York.
