Unlike its predecessor at this location, SAIGON GRILL, the food at SAIGON MARKET is often lackluster. However, the Vegetable Dumplings are routinely delicious, fresh tasting, and delicate, with thin skins and an excellent filling, unlike most veggie dumplings in restaurants across NYC. Sadly, the Bun Xao does not match the dumplings' quality, had too few veggies and the beef was dried out. Their La Sa Tom and La Sa Ga curry noodle soups are both very good, tasty, and provide lots of meat and noodles, making this a good choice for a lunch entree.

Fantastic food - the lunch special is the best bang for your buck in the west village. I love the pad thai (not for everyone, it has a barbecue-like tang), the crab salad, the lamb massaman, the beef salad, the papaya saiad, the crab fried rice ....really the only dish I don't like is one of their superhealthy (healthy, shmealthy!) salmon dishes and one of the steak dishes, which is weirdly tough and overcooked. The delivery people are incredibly gracious - they are such a class act that I make sure to tip them more than the automatic seamless tip.

I've only ever had one thing from Mooncake, but I am a fan of it nonetheless. If you go for the miso-glazed salmon, you can't go wrong. Comes with a decent sized piece of fish, on top of brown rice (if you so choose) and a standard ginger-miso dressing side salad (would recommend to the restaurant they put it in a separate container). The salmon comes with a herb/spicy green sauce that tastes similar in some ways to sauces you find in Cuban or certain Latin/South American restaurants. It's delicious - I recommend you ask for extra!
Delivery is almost always very prompt - only had one issue once. I gave the restaurant a second chance, and am glad I did. Delivery has bee timely since, and the food is too good to give up for moderately-healthy afterwork meals.

Yes!!! Finally authentic Vietnamese that delivers to Flatiron + Chelsea!! Quick delivery and even when they accidentally gave us the wrong order they rushed over the correct one with no hassle! Ordered the Pho Bo which was very delicious - they even deliver it with a bowl so you can eat it on the go. The soup was still hot and when poured over the raw meat, cooks it perfectly and made it tender. The Bun Ga Nuong (Chicken Vermicelli) was excellent as well. Highly, highly recommend them!

I was VERY pleased with my experience here. Chelsea Cottage followed my vegetarian special instructions to the "T" & the food was delicious. I feel like it's really hard to mess up Lo Mein, but regardless, it was still delicious. As was the egg drop soup. I will definitely order form here again!

The Sichuan food is delicious and incredibly spicy. Avoid the "American" Chinese food and the Vietnamese food at all costs. They are trying to do too much to please everyone. I would give them 5 stars if they would focus on what they do best.

I ordered marinated beef Bun and Vietnamese spring rolls. They were both very average--not as terrible as other midtown-ish Vietnamese offerings, but not good.
