Good Food catering to the american palate while I understand why i still miss a little heat in the food that i am accustomed too. But I must say show up and make your own plate for 4.99 is by far the best deal around Huge portions one meal can feed 2 people. 4 1/2 stars

Their dishes come out a winner every time. The rolls are loaded with food; so you could get by on just ordering one. The meals are plenty big and as authentic as anything I've ever had. The Chicken Achari, for example, is always delicious; backed to perfection; tender juicy chicken with flavor all the way through. I've you're really into Indian cuisine, you have to try them out. Also, they're open 'til 5am....yeah, you read that right ;)

Food was delicious and among the best I've had in the area. BUT, delivery took 75 minutes, not the 30-45 quoted by the restaurant. On top of that, the delivery guy refused to bring the food upstairs (in an elevator building). No apologies about being late, nor for demanding I come down whereas every other delivery I've had to my building has come upstairs with no problems whatsoever.

Food was good though nothing exceptional. I have to say though that the portions of dishes relative to rice in the lunch box seemed pretty skimpy and the samosa that came with it was quite small. I would have given four stars if the portion sizes were better. I wouldnt be against ordering from here again though there are others indian restaurants on seamless that are both better tasting and are a better value (ie bhatti).

Absolutely as delicious as the New York Times review said it would be! Finally an Indian restaurant I can't wait to eat from again. BUT BUT BUT, one big BUT: the cauliflower appetizer, while delicious, involved a shockingly small number of pieces of cauliflower. It's been a while, but I think it was six little battered florets? They were delicious, but seriously guys, either drop the price of that dish or add more, or specify the number of florets. Otherwise it just seems ridiculous and mars your otherwise wonderful work.

There are lots of Indian restaurants to choose from, but Chote Nawab stands out for a couple reasons. First, they offer a selection of dishes that others do not, such as Melagu Kozhi Chettinad and Dalcha, and they are well made and spiced. Second, they take your requests for spiciness to heart, so youy don't have to ask for "spicy" because you are afraid anything else will be bland. Plus, I have been pleased with their delivery times.

Something about this particular Punjabi place is unusually special. I've ordered from Indian food all over the city, but only the sauces of their white meat Chicken Vindaloo and their Mixed Veg Curry -- of this place only, in NYC -- take me quite as back directly to the best London Indian bistro of my college days with such a Proustian rush. Try it once: you'll see what I mean. This place is different, it is fantastic.
