I should premise this by sasying that I generally don't feel compelled to write reviews on seamless... However after the meal I just enjoyed from Gila's Nosh... Well... It was really incredible. I was first addicted to shwarma in Israel, and I often look to the random new "mediteranean" restaurant in hopes of recreating the experience. More often then not, I am left dissapointed. I am very pleased to have found what I believe to be the best shwarma and falafel in NYC with Gila's. The fact that it happens to be in my neighborhood, and that they delivered within less then 15 minutes earned them an instant 4 stars. The 5th star is for their amazing baklava and rugelah. Trust me on this one.

We have ordered from them twice, with good results. Prompt. Great cheeseburgers. Fries crisp and thin,
like in France. Chicken paillard has grill marks and is moist and thin.

I gave it 3 stars to be fair - the food is very average (I had gotten 1 crepe and 1 salad). The fillers in my crepe all appeared to have come out of a can or jar, and the salad had generic pepperidge farm type small croutons. I'd give the restaurant 1 star if I was judging on a more unique meal or exciting taste.

LOVE Landmarc. Definitely better to eat inside for best experience. Little on pricey side, small meat portions(taking my words back...never can finish full portion lately lol, so size is good[added on Jan 11, 2013]), BUT my meats were always done great. Medium rare were medium rare exactly the way i like it. And steaks are very soft and nice. Hard to find such good preparation in the city. Foie gra very good, goat cheese profiteroles soooo good. Got once some onion sous instead of Bearnaise on delivery, but was also good, so no complains;) I like all foods here, not sure what people find not good...

Just ordered the gluten free gnocchi al forno (4 cheese) - AMAZING! Seriously could not tell it was gluten free, tasted just like normal gnocchi, small, light, pillowy, with good spices and cheese. The sauce was great too. Didn't even need to add salt or pepper, and not too heavy. My Dr recently put me on a gluten free diet, and I'm very impressed by the number of gluten-free options!! Can't wait to try the socca which is supposed to be like a pizza,,,will let you know!
