The Momofuku delivery man does not pair well with their pork buns. When he showed up, he asked "do you know it's a four mile round trip from 88th street to here?" Though it's 3.4 miles and there was a really pretty pleasant 4mph breeze on this day, the man had expected a more generous tip. Feeling bad that he had to lug two steamed buns and two bags of chips to the apartment, I gathered up what change I had and gave it to him, bringing the total tip up to more than 26%.
A little while later, I went downstairs to go outside, and initially got really excited that on a shelf in the entranceway there was a pile of change really similar to the one I had just given the deliveryman! But soon enough I realized the truth--that he had disposed of the change summarily, not even sparing the quarter. Not even the quarter! Nickels and dimes are used to being treated like that, but quarters?
In protest, and in redemption of my shamed change, next weekend I plan on biking back and forth to Momofuku a half dozen times or so, drinking a cup of milk and eating a pork bun at each mile.

The delivery was fast! Under the estimated time. The six of us ordered very different dishes and so we got to taste quite a number of dishes. All very good and tasty. The sushi was very fresh.

The food was decent, but not nearly as good as other options in the same neighborhood. Unfortunately, the service was excessively slow. My order didn't arrive for an hour and fifteen minutes -- a full 45 minutes after it was supposed to show. When I inquired, I was given a 20% discount on the meal. So, all in all, I was happy with this order.

just tried this place for the first time...it didnt take too long, and the delivery guy was nice. the food came hot, i had to let the soup cool before eating it. we ordered the mulligatawny soup, baghare baigan and chana masala. it came with small containers of rice, so if you like a lot of rice, order an extra side...but the whole reason i decided to write this review is because the food was incredible!! really delicious. good flavors and textures, the eggplant came in a peanut curry sauce that was sooo good and the chick peas were in a thick sauce, not too strong on the spices, and everything was blended and chopped really well (i hate finding big chunks of onions or ginger in my food for ex.)...so i definitely give it 5 stars! cant wait to try out the rest of the menu :-)

We did not get pizza, however, the Stromboli and garlic knots were very good, and the Chicken alla saltomboca (sp?) was very tasty. The only complaint was the delivery guy who called 5 minutes before he showed up, so I had to wait outside for him. Not a big deal though. We will be ordering from here again.

We love the great authentic food and healthy portions. Every dish reminds me of good times in the Caribbean. Try the carne guisada with yellow rice black beans and tostones! Crazy good w maduros and chicharones. Best In Manhattan!

Fantastic selection of exceptionally prepared Chinese and Japanese dishes. The mix of cheap Chinese " hole-in-the-wall" options along with well executed, more up scale Japanese selections, means, in one quickly delivered order, one could get belly filling fried chicken wings, satisfying, delicious, steamed little juicy buns, as well as decadent and delicate baby octopus. A great upper manhattan secret delivery spot!
