  The delivery was on time, but the food seemed rather mediocre for the price. Samosa Chaat was kind of a mess, and the basil naan was just sort of dusted with something green - it didn't taste like basil at all. Guess I'll just have to keep searching for a good Indian place around here.

  Pros: The variety of food is fresh and delicious! The delivery guys are courteous, fast and deliver with a smile, and their delivery range is very large. Cons: at $11, the avocado tartare is overpriced for the small portion.

  I rather had a pretty good experience with China Red last night. Most of the reviews were right in that the food delivery arrived late. In fact, it was about an hour and a half late from when initially placing the other. I called two times to inquire about the food - the first time, they told me that the food would arrive in a few minutes ... few minutes pass, and I call again. At this point, the place had closed. When I did receive the food, the deliveryman was genuinely VERY apologetic and I sort of felt bad for already writing China Red off. It wasn't until I received a phone call about 10 minutes after the food arrived from China Red inquiring if I had indeed receive the food, that I decided to write this review. Sounding very apologetic and concerned that we had not received our food, I assured that we were all set and thanked him for the call. It was very nice of them to make a courtesy call so late in the evening (it had been about 30 min after they officially closed the restaurant)! Because of the attention to service (in my case at least), I'd definitely order from them again. Food was the typical Chinese take-out. Not gourmet, but exactly what I wanted ...

  If you're a fan of Asian vegetarian food, you really can't go wrong with Wild Ginger. Fast delivery, great value, and most of all delicious. I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten here. My favorite is the Orange Seitan. It's not available as a lunch special, but its worth the extra bucks. It's not terrible microwaved the next day though, not awful, but not as good as the day you got it (unlike most Chinese food, but in my experience, typical of seitan). So order it to share or when you have a big appetite. Also, all the apps are awesome, but the seitan skewers are on another level.

  Delicious. Easily the best hummus I've found in lower Manhattan so far, and all the sides I've gotten were very good and well-seasoned. I have experienced no problems at all with timely delivery.

  Food arrived quickly and was piping hot and delicious. The green onion pancake aka scallion pancake was crispy and delicious. Vegetarian sesame chicken was outstanding, well worth the price (it's more than the real chicken). Tender pieces well seasoned in a spicy sesame sauce, with crisp toasted sesame seeds scattered throughout and crisp-tender broccolli. Really delicious, maybe that's why I can't stop writing the words "crisp" and "tender". My new favorite Chinese food place in the Village.
