I am always really happy with my order from here. Whether it's the quick delivery, or the freshness of the food, I am always satisfied! Also - the garlic bread bowl that can be added to the salad? SO good! Definitely recommend!

I always enjoy whatever I order from KenShin, be it sushi, KenShin chicken, pad thai or lettuce wraps. Their service and delivery is always friendly and professional too.

I LOVED the Hickory Burger with the barbecue sauce & bacon! The cheesesteak egg rolls were also tasty and quite large. I will definitely be ordering from this place again!

Everything I have ever ordered from here has been SO good...but my favorite items are the cheese hoagie and the curly fries. Garden's has become my go-to order spot!

My order got to my door in about 25 minutes! The food was piping hot and delicious. The spare ribs were a little drier than usual, but it didn't hinder the taste. I'll definitely be ordering from this place again.

  • Los Taquitos De Puebla (S. 9th St. & Ernest St.)

After an insane day at work filled with meetings and presentations, I was once again in the mood for take-out. And with that ... Mexican food came to mind. The GF and I have ordered from Los Taquitos de Puebla once before. I love a good taqueria and they did a fairly decent job of providing those tastes via delivery the last time around. Perhaps it was the delivery aspect that muted my enthusiasm (nothing beats a fresh taco from a taqueria stand or even a taco truck), but I was willing to give Los Taquitos de Puebla another chance to blow my mind. Gringa ($10) Layers of protein, vegetables, tortilla and cheese. Served with shepherd style beef and Chihuahua cheese. The last time around, I ordered the Alambre especiale which was a mountainous mound of pork, beef, cheese, mushrooms, and more. They provided flour tortillas on the side, allowing me to scoop just enough of what I wanted into each handheld bite. Perhaps it's because the gringa is technically not offered as an 'Alambre,' but this iteration came as more of a quesadilla. I ordered this as the GF wasn't a fan of the melange of various meats in the especiale. The gringa contained only al pastor (shpherd style) beef - you could clearly taste the sweetness in the accompanying pineapple, which is typical of most al pastor tacos. The chihuaha cheese blended nicely with the rest of the dish. However, I was disappointed that this was a quesadilla and not more of the 'Alambre' I had previously (my own fault of course). Regardless, the 'layers of protein' described were not seen here. Tacos de Pollo ($10) 3 chicken tacos per order, fresh off the grill. Served with sour cream, lettuce, and fresh cheese. These were ordered by the GF, and I somehow managed to snatch one of them away. It was fresh, delicious, and light compared to the gringa. Overall, my perception of Los Taquitos de Puebla has not changed much - at least on the delivery end. Perhaps you simply need to have these tacos right off the grill to

  • Machi (S. 20th St. between Walnut St. and Locust St.)

While in Philly for the best conference of my entire life, I was struck by the overwhelming need to eat sushi on my train ride back to NY. I found Machi using Seamless and decided that its proximity to both my hotel and the 30th Street Station made it the ideal choice to order from. I was pleasantly surprised by my meal, because being from NY, I assume that food from elsewhere must be inferior, but I was wrong. Machi is a cute restaurant with a sushi bar and small tables. I chose to pick up my food because I was on the way to the train station anyway. The sushi chefs were finishing up my order and I could see that their work area was clean and organized. I ordered the 3 roll special, tamago, and shrimp shumai. My avocado roll was tasty. The salmon skin rolls (without sauce) were pretty good but I noticed that they left more salmon on the skin than I am used to. I haven't decided how I feel about that yet. The tamago was some of the best I have ever had. An order comes with two pieces of well-sized egg custard. I would definitely order from Machi again when I am back in Philadelphia.
